There’s less than two months left until November’s election.
Control of the entire federal government is up for grabs.
And Nancy Pelosi just revealed how Chuck Schumer plans to give Democrats permanent power in Washington, D.C.
With the November election rapidly approaching, most of the media’s coverage centers around the race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
The outcome of the Presidential election will certainly play a major role in determining America’s future, but the Presidential election is not the only important battle taking place on November 5.
Control of the U.S. House and Senate is also on the line.
Republicans have a razor-thin majority in the House, and are defending 18 members who represent Democrat-heavy congressional districts carried by President Joe Biden in the last election.
Democrats have a narrow 51-49 seat majority in the Senate.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is facing a tough map to maintain control of the Upper Chamber this election.
But should Democrats hold the majority in November, they could stay in power forever if Chuck Schumer gets his way.
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) shared what Chuck Schumer promised to do should Democrats keep the Senate this fall.
“We have to win the Senate,” Pelosi said. “[Schumer] told me that if they win, they will change the Senate in terms of the filibuster, and we would pass [the] For The People Act, which makes all the difference in the world in terms of our democracy.”
The misnamed “For The People Act” is nothing more than a federal takeover of elections that prohibits voter ID laws, expands mail-in voting, and imposes ballot harvesting in every state.
It’s been Democrats’ dream legislation for the past few years, but they’ve been unable to break a filibuster to pass it in the Senate.
It takes 60 votes to break a filibuster.
But according to Pelosi, Schumer will nuke the filibuster and ram her federal takeover of elections through the Senate on a majority vote.
Kamala is on record in support of nuking the filibuster.
And the terrifying reality is that Schumer would not stop with Pelosi’s federal takeover of elections.
Without a filibuster, Schumer would be free to ram through the Left’s entire wish list.
This includes tax hikes, censorship on speech, and the Green New Deal.
It also means granting statehood to Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, as well as packing or expanding the Supreme Court to create a far-Left majority.
This would give the Democrats permanent power in Washington, D.C. and be the end of America as we know it.
That’s why this November really is the most important election in our lifetime.
