Meghan Markle can’t keep herself out of trouble.

She committed another sick act that landed her in hot water.

And Meghan Markle committed one awful act of theft that left her facing a lawsuit.

Meghan Markle has to rebrand after trademark woes for her dog treat business

Former D-list actress Meghan Markle is trying to reinvent herself as a Martha Stewart-inspired lifestyle guru.

She’s releasing a reality show on Netflix called With Love, Meghan where she cooks and gardens with her celebrity friends.

The Duchess of Sussex was set to launch a lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard that sells overpriced jams and dog treats to coincide with the Netflix show.

But she’s dealt with issues getting the name trademarked because it involves a location.

The American Riviera is the nickname for the Santa Barbara, California area where she and her husband, Prince Harry, live.

She pivoted to renaming the brand As Ever and came up with an excuse for the last-minute name change.

“The cat’s out of the bag,” Meghan said in a video posted to social media.

Harry can be heard barking at her “It’s recording” in the background.

Meghan claimed there was a lot of “curiosity” about her lifestyle brand.

“Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.’ It’s my neighborhood . . . it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area,” Meghan stated.

Spanish town mulls a lawsuit against Meghan

A new name for Meghan’s brand meant a new logo for it.

The logo for As Ever features a palm tree with two birds on either side.

But that logo is suspiciously similar to the Spanish town of Porreres located on the island of Mallorca.

Officials in Porreres believe that Meghan copied their town’s coat of arms.

Mayor Xisca Mora told a local newspaper the situation is “surreal” and the town is considering filing a lawsuit against As Ever.

“I don’t know if she visited some agritourism sites and saw the coat of arms, because the photo on her website is taken from Mallorca,” Mora said.

Mora hoped that the dispute would bring some attention to the town of about 5,000.

Meghan is making a big bet that As Ever and her new Netflix show will be big hits.

Her multimillion-dollar contract with the streaming service is set to run out at the end of the year.

She claimed that As Ever was an extension of her passions.

“This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the every day,” Meghan claimed. “I will keep sharing behind-the-scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can’t wait for you to get your hands on everything we’ve been creating.”

Becoming the next Martha Stewart is proving to be more difficult than she ever thought as her lifestyle brand faced trademark woes and now potential international copyright infringement.
