Mark Cuban was just sent to the corner for a time out by this Trump nominee

Mark Cuban has suddenly deleted all of his X posts in which he defended Kamala Harris.

He wants to memory hole his absurd takes during the 2024 election cycle.

But now Mark Cuban was just sent to the corner for a time out by this Donald Trump cabinet nominee.

Cuban accidentally helped get Trump elected

Former Dallas Mavericks majority owner Mark Cuban was one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ most active and visible surrogates during the 2024 election cycle.

The Rachel Maddow look-a-like was a mainstay as a talking head on so-called “mainstream” TV news networks and constantly championed the Democrat Vice President’s campaign on social media.

Just days before the election, the Shark Tank star was a remote guest interviewed by the cackling hens who co-host The View.

During his appearance, Cuban asserted that Trump never has “strong, intelligent women” around him.

The comment backfired in a big way, especially when combined with President Joe Biden’s remarks about Trump voters being “garbage.”

And one of the President-elect’s most prominent cabinet nominees roasted Cuban over the coals for the arrogant and inaccurate insult.

Gaetz out, Bondi in

Trump originally tapped then-Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to be his U.S. Attorney General.

Gaetz resigned from his position in Congress following his nomination in order to allow his seat to be filled as soon as possible due to the fact that Republicans’ majority in the House is so thin.

However, Democrats and establishment RINOs teamed up to derail the appointment, plus there was a politically-motivated witch hunt investigation stacked against Gaetz – meaning, unless Trump used a recess appointment ploy, the nomination was almost guaranteed to die in the U.S. Senate.

As a result, the Florida Congressman withdrew his name from consideration.

Gaetz cited that he didn’t want to be a distraction from the work of the incoming Trump Administration as the reason for taking his name out of consideration.

But the Trump transition team had a back-up plan ready to go.

And the new Attorney General nominee had some harsh words for Mark Cuban.

Pam Bondi vs. Mark Cuban

Hours after Gaetz’s announcement, the President-elect nominated former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as the next Attorney General.

Unlike Gaetz and many other Trump cabinet picks, Bondi isn’t very well known nationally.

But now would be a good time to get to know more about her.

And one thing to know is that Bondi is not a fan of Mark Cuban.

At a Trump rally prior to Election Day in Greensboro, North Carolina, Bondi responded to Cuban’s sexist remarks.

“I was a homicide prosecutor for 18 years, I was Florida’s first FEMALE Attorney General, and I was special advisor Donald Trump’s office of White House counsel,” Bondi began. “But most importantly, I’m his (Trump’s) friend. I was in that White House and we all know he surrounded himself with a lot of brilliant women . . . that was the greatest gift Mark Cuban could have given Donald Trump, I think, by saying something so ignorant and stupid. So, I have a message for Mark Cuban . . . underestimate us, this is gonna be fun.”

And Bondi was right: Election Night was fun for Trump supporters – and not so much for Cuban and his candidate of choice.

Bondi’s positives and negatives

But she also needs to address her past support for red flag confiscation laws infringing on law-abiding Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

However, there are positive signs going for Bondi as well.

She was then-Governor Rick Scott’s Attorney General in the Sunshine State.

She served on Trump’s 2020 legal team, fighting his second impeachment.

And Bondi runs the legal arm of the America First Policy Institute.
