Letitia James made good on her campaign promise to go after Donald Trump.

But he will still soon return to the White House.

And Letitia James proudly declared her intention to violate the Constitution with this witch hunt against Donald Trump.

Corrupt Democrat prosecutors put President-elect Donald Trump through the ringer for the past few years in an effort to stop him from returning to the White House.

When all was said and done, Democrats hit Trump with 91 criminal charges across four sham indictments.

Despite their lawfare, Donald Trump crushed Vice President Kamala Harris in a historic victory to win another four years in the Oval Office.

But Trump’s legal troubles didn’t go away with his victory over Kamala Harris.

New York Democrat Attorney General Letitia James recently vowed to continue her lawfare against Donald Trump.

James launched bogus criminal charges against Trump for allegedly inflating the value of his assets despite the fact that he repaid every loan with interest.

Even though the bank made money on every loan and hoped to do more business with Trump, James accused him of defrauding Deutsche Bank.

Democrat Judge Arthur Engoron handed James a $464 million award in her bogus case against Trump.

But Trump appellate lawyer D. John Sauer requested that James drop her civil case against Trump in order to “cure” partisan divides and improve “the health of our Republic.”

“In the aftermath of his historic election victory, President Trump has called for our Nation’s partisan strife to end, and for the contending factions to join forces for the greater good of the country,” Sauer wrote. “This call for unity extends to the legal onslaught against him and his family that permeated the most recent election cycle.”

“Donald Trump’s impending inauguration as the next president does not impact his $454 million civil fraud judgment, a lawyer for New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a letter to the president-elect’s lawyer Tuesday,” ABC reported. “Trump and his adult sons owe approximately $490 million including interest in their civil fraud case after a judge ruled last year that they repeatedly inflated Trump’s net worth to secure better loan terms over a decade of business dealings.”

But Letitia James is motivated by a partisan hatred of Donald Trump and plans to continue her case against the President-elect.

“The ordinary burdens of civil litigation do not impede the President’s official duties in a way that violates the U.S. Constitution,” New York Deputy Solicitor General Judith Vale wrote in a letter to D. John Sauer.

Vale rejected the request.

She wrote that there is “no merit to your claim that the pendency of defendants’ own appeal will impede Mr. Trump’s official duties as President.”

“Accordingly, the various actions taken by the Special Counsel’s office or the District Attorney’s Office of New York County in the respective criminal cases brought by those offices against Mr. Trump are irrelevant here,” Vale’s letter said.

Other Democrats are backing off their cases against Donald Trump.

But Letitia James will live to regret pushing forward in her bogus civil case against Trump.
