And Lauren Boebert just torched Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris with a hilarious truthbomb about this endangered bird.
There’s just over one week left until Election Day.
While the Presidential race is dominating the headlines, the U.S. House and Senate could make history on November 5.
Republicans only need to flip two seats – one if you count West Virginia as out of play for Democrats – to take back control of the Senate from Democrats.
But Democrats only need to flip four seats to take back the House from Republicans.
“Recent polling, including new surveys out Tuesday, shows that 2024 may produce something never seen before in American history: The House could flip from Republican to Democratic control, while the Senate may flip from Democratic to Republican control,” CNN reported. “If that happened, it would be the first time in over 230 years of congressional elections that the two chambers of Congress changed partisan control in the opposite direction.”
One of the seats Democrats are trying to pick up is in Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District, which is currently represented by Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO).
Boebert upset a sitting GOP Congressman in 2020 and has proven to be a conservative warrior.
She voted against certifying the 2020 election and served as one of the 20 conservative holdouts who refused to back former RINO Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy.
Boebert barely won re-election in 2022 by 543 votes.
She switched Congressional seats to run in the Fourth District after Rep. Ken Buck’s (R-CO) retirement.
And Democrats are going all-out to try and defeat Boebert on November 5.
“Democrats are making their strongest push ever to win the newly drawn district with candidate Trisha Calvarese spending more than $910,800 on advertising,” Axios reported. “Boebert has spent a scant $102,500 but is still favored to win.”
Even though she’s in the middle of a big election fight, Boebert is still willing to fight Congressional Democrats.
She recently made headlines for taking the gloves off on Democrats for protecting “ugly” endangered birds.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Colorado recently announced plans to conserve public lands, protect game and endangered species, and refocus energy development to areas “with the highest potential for oil and gas resources.”
The Gunnison sage-grouse is an endangered bird living in the sagebrush habitats of southwestern Colorado.
Part of the BLM plan includes creating “a one-mile buffer” around the bird’s habitat.
And this infuriated Boebert.
“The Biden-Harris Administration and the radical progressives in charge of BLM are attempting to lock up our public lands from critical uses like oil & gas exploration,” Boebert told Newsweek. “Instead of putting Coloradans first, they’re continuing to bend the knee to Green New Deal worshippers who want to destroy Colorado’s oil & gas industry and the tens of thousands of good-paying jobs that support families across the state,” she continued. “Obama, Biden and Harris have tried to use the Gunnison Sage-Grouse’s ugly, non-endangered cousin, the Greater Sage-Grouse, to lock up more than 183 million acres in the West.”
Boebert vowed to “fight this newest land grab just like I’ve done for every ridiculous attempt from the Biden-Harris Administration and BLM to damage our economy.”
Boebert has a point.
Under the guise of saving the planet, the radical environmentalists and animal rights activists are destroying economic progress.
