The Presidential election is in the final sprint toward Election Day.
Americans are trying to figure out which way the race is leaning.
And Laura Ingraham was stunned at this bad sign for Democrats heading toward Election Day.
Kamala’s campaign stumbles down the stretch
Vice President Kamala Harris has seen the momentum shift against her over the past couple of weeks.
Her path to 270 Electoral Votes and victory runs through the Rust Belt swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
These “Blue Wall” states are all tight races in the final weeks before Election Day.
Doug Schoen – a pollster to former President Bill Clinton – warned of trouble for Kamala in the “Blue Wall” states during an appearance on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham noted there are reports of infighting amongst Democrats over how the Kamala campaign is being run in these crucial states.
“It’s, in fact, Laura, you’re absolutely right, a very bad sign,” Schoen replied. “I’m picking up from my Democratic friends and sources precisely what you’re reporting.”
Politico reported that Pennsylvania Democrats are unhappy with how Kamala’s campaign is handling minority outreach in Philadelphia.
“The so-called ‘Blue Wall’ of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania is eroding for the Democrats,” Schoen explained. “There is a level of disorganization on the ground and incoherence vis-à-vis the messaging that is clear.”
Kamala struggles with a closing message to voters
Ingraham pointed out that Kamala still hasn’t laid out an economic agenda for voters.
“There is not a clear sense as to what she’s going to do different than Joe Biden, which, as you point out, close to 60% of America has made them feel worse off,” Schoen said. “She hasn’t articulated a coherent plan.”
Kamala has struggled to explain how she would be any different than Biden in the White House.
Schoen saw her interview on Fox News with Special Report anchor Bret Baier as a sign of her rudderless campaign.
“The Harris campaign really doesn’t have a closing message or strategy, as we, I think, saw in Brett Baier’s interview with Kamala Harris today,” Schoen stated.
Kamala failed to explain how she would be any different than Biden in the Fox News interview other than claiming that she isn’t him.
“And it’s, frankly, perfectly logical that she would say different times, different circumstances, different plan, here’s what I’m doing, here’s what Trump’s doing, vote for me,” Schoen said. “She hasn’t done it. And I don’t have a sense, Laura. She’s going to do it.”
Schoen thought Kamala’s inability to articulate any direct answers to questions in the Fox News interview hurt her.
“I don’t think it helped at all. I think she felt she’d reach some swing voters,” Schoen explained. “But to me, the absence of clear answers, the real sense of, you know, confusion to perfectly logical questions that Bret asked, to me suggests that it underscored all of the issues and concerns that few undecided swing voters have. Don’t think it helped a bit.”
Kamala Harris losing any one of the “Blue Wall” states could close off any path to victory for her on election night.
