Laura Ingraham Revealed What Democrats Plan to Do the Moment They Seize the Supreme Court

Hillary Clinton argued that Democrats should expand the Supreme Court to thirteen justices.

Laura Ingraham spent her opening Ingraham Angle laying out exactly what thirteen justices means for you.

The list she read would have sounded like a conspiracy theory two years ago.

Why Democrats Want to Pack the Supreme Court With 13 Justices

Laura Ingraham broke down what would happen if Democrats were able to pack the Supreme Court with more justices.

Four new seats flip the court 7-6, and unlike Republican appointees, Democrat justices "almost always vote as a bloc in lockstep."

That is why thirteen is the number and not any other.

The circuit-court argument – thirteen circuits, so thirteen justices – is cynical cover for a power grab, nothing more.

Hillary Clinton endorsed it on a podcast. Kamala Harris pushed it in Nashville in July at the National Urban League conference. James Carville said on a podcast he would bet money Democrats pack the court on day one if they win unified government after 2028.

Rep. Ro Khanna called the court morally bankrupt and demanded thirteen seats. Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, asked yes or no on camera, said yes – and then added the word fairly.

Ingraham traced how this didn't come out of nowhere – the Left had no complaints about the court for decades while it kept handing them wins.

School prayer stripped from public schools, Miranda warnings mandated, Roe v. Wade made the law of the land, the death penalty gutted, race embedded as a factor in public decisions, and children of illegal immigrants guaranteed a taxpayer-funded education.

They only decided the court was broken the moment it stopped doing what they wanted – and reversing Roe was the moment they decided to change the rules instead of accepting the outcome.

What Court Packing Does to Your Second Amendment and Your Border

Ingraham was direct: "court packing is a power grab with the veneer of legal justification."

The goal isn't judicial reform – it's "treating the court like any other political arm of the DNC."

Once Democrats seat their four justices, Roe v. Wade comes back nationwide. The southern border gets catch and release mandated back in, the border fence ruled inhumane, and every deported illegal alien ordered back into the country by court order.

The Second Amendment gets gutted and free speech gets restricted the way Britain already does it. DEI rollbacks get reversed, USAID gets rebuilt with radical NGOs back in business, and every Trump executive action gets nullified by four justices no one ever voted for.

Ingraham asked what stops the next Congress from packing it to nineteen if thirteen doesn't deliver. Nothing stops them – and as Ingraham observed: "a court you can pack is a court you can own."

A court one party owns is not a court – it is a super legislature that can override the will of the people with no accountability to anyone. Ingraham called it the political equivalent of burning down the stadium because you lost on a bad referee's call.

FDR Tried to Pack the Supreme Court and His Own Party Stopped Him

Franklin Roosevelt tried the exact same play in 1937. He wanted to grow the Supreme Court from nine justices to as many as fifteen because the court kept blocking his New Deal agenda.

Roosevelt was coming off the biggest presidential landslide in American history. His party controlled 76 Senate seats and 347 House seats. A Democrat Senate killed the plan 70 to 22.

The Senate Judiciary Committee called it needless, futile, and utterly dangerous – and urged the Senate to reject it so emphatically it would never come before Congress again.

Conservative Democrats, liberal Democrats, and Republicans stood together to protect the independence of the court. Even Joe Biden once called court packing a bonehead idea.

That was then. Democrats running in this midterm have dropped any pretense of opposing it.

On September 2nd, Republicans forced today's Democrats to go on the record. The proposed amendment was one sentence: "The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine justices."

Democrats had a clean chance to close the door. Instead, 205 of them voted no. Only one – Rep. Don Davis of North Carolina – broke with his party.

Hakeem Jeffries had already signaled that Rep. Jamie Raskin would run the House Judiciary Committee if Democrats retake the majority – the committee that processes court-packing legislation.

FDR's own party stopped him cold. Today's party has nobody willing to do the same – 205 members just proved it by refusing to write "nine justices" into the Constitution when Republicans handed them a clean vote.

The midterms are November 3rd.

Ingraham closed the segment with: "a vote for Democrats is a vote to drop your constitutional rights into the wood chipper." The list above is what goes in first.
