Kid Rock Revealed What Trump Did to Him During a Phone Call That Left Bill Maher Pounding the Table

Liberals spent four years calling Trump lazy while he was running the country from a golf cart.

Kid Rock just told a story on Bill Maher's show that proves every one of them wrong.

What Trump did during a live Macron call on the golf course proves his critics never knew him.

Trump Was on a Live Macron Phone Call From a Golf Cart When Kid Rock Was Standing Right There

Kid Rock appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher alongside Ted Cruz, and the liberal audience had a worse night than they expected.

Maher asked about the golf cart story, and Kid Rock hesitated – "I hate speaking out of school, but this is just a fun one" – before setting the scene: "The guy does not stop working. That's true. I think we can all agree on that. He works. He sleeps like me four or five hours a night."

They were out on the course when French President Macron called.

Trump took the call rolling through the fairway – and when he spotted Kid Rock, he told Macron he had "the great Kid Rock" right there with him, said "Bob, say hello," handed over the phone, and drove away in the golf cart.

Left Kid Rock standing next to an empty golf cart, holding the phone, with the president of France waiting on the other end.

How Kid Rock Responded When Trump Left Him Alone on the Phone With Macron

Most people would have frozen.

Kid Rock looked at the phone, looked at the horizon where Trump had just disappeared, and said: "Hello, Mr. President. I'm from the Paris of the Midwest, Detroit." Then, with nothing else to go on, he asked Macron: "So what else you been up to?"

Maher, who had already heard the story privately before the show, pounded the table anyway: "He leaves Macron on the phone with Kid Rock!"

It was just as funny the second time.

Why Macron Calls Trump Every Other Day and Gets Kid Rock

French diplomats confirmed earlier this year that Trump and Macron speak on the phone as often as every other day.

Macron has even bragged publicly that he can get Trump on the line any time he wants – and when his motorcade got blocked by Trump's own motorcade on a New York street last year, he called Trump on the spot and Trump answered.

Macron spent years believing he was the one European leader who could manage Trump through personal chemistry – he was right about the access, but he never accounted for Kid Rock.

But Trump also hands that phone to Kid Rock and disappears down the fairway – confident, in on the joke, unbothered.

This is a man taking calls from European heads of state between shots on the back nine, introducing his friend as "the great Kid Rock" mid-conversation with the French president, treating international diplomacy with the same casual authority he treats everything else.

The Left built an entire industry around the idea that Trump golfed instead of worked.

Kid Rock dismantled it in thirty seconds on Bill Maher's own show.

What Kid Rock on Real Time With Bill Maher Is Actually Proving About Trump

Kid Rock did not end up on Maher's show by accident, and he didn't go there to play defense.

He brokered the White House dinner that put Maher and Trump in the same room, then walked onto Real Time and won over an audience that came expecting to dismiss him.

The media will note that Kid Rock appeared on Maher's show and move on.

But the people watching clips like this and forwarding them to everyone they know see it clearly – Kid Rock is walking into rooms the left thought were locked up and leaving with the crowd behind him.

The people who voted for Trump are confident, funny, and unapologetic – and the political class still has no answer for any of it.

Trump taking calls from Macron on the golf course and handing the phone to Kid Rock is not a distraction from governing.

It is governing – with a personality and a sense of humor the left will spend another four years trying to decode.

Meanwhile Trump is already on the next hole.
