Virtually every major poll this week says Republicans are going to lose the Senate.
Kellyanne Conway has been running national elections since before most of those pollsters were born.
What she told Fox News Sunday about why those numbers are wrong should terrify every Democrat who thinks this race is already over.
Conway Says the 2026 Midterm Polls Have a Republican Enthusiasm Problem
Speaker Mike Johnson told Republicans this week to stop trusting the polls.
Kellyanne Conway – one of America's top professional pollsters with decades of national election experience – went on Fox News Sunday and told him he was right.
"There is an overestimation of Democratic enthusiasm," Conway said flatly.
Republicans were tracked, harassed, and silenced for supporting Trump – and last week, Senator Chuck Grassley revealed exactly how far that went.
Jack Smith subpoenaed the personal information of 639,000 Republican voters, donors, and supporters – including the names and home addresses of everyone who bought a red MAGA hat.
Grassley found that Smith's team "aimed to map out the entire Republican Party apparatus," pulling donor data, voter records, and purchasing histories going back to 2005.
When the government comes for your hat purchase, you stop answering strangers' phone calls.
"Participation in a poll is not the same as participation at the polls," Conway said.
That's why the media has November 3rd completely wrong.

The Polling Misses That Prove 2026 Senate Races Are Closer Than Anyone Is Admitting
Conway didn't just make the argument in theory – she had the numbers to back it up.
Prediction market Kalshi declared Wisconsin's Democrat governor primary a done deal – 90% odds for their handpicked frontrunner Francesca Hong.
She lost.
Emerson polling showed socialist Democrat Abdul El-Sayed crushing Haley Stevens by 15 points – he won by one.
Those aren't rounding errors; they're the same structural miss repeating itself.
Pollsters are still assuming the same share of Republicans willing to answer a phone call in 2018 are willing to answer one in 2026, after years of censorship and a federal special counsel subpoenaing the home address of everyone who spent $40 on a hat. They aren't.
This is a pattern, not an anomaly. Polls dramatically underestimated Trump in 2016. The American Association for Public Opinion Research called 2020 the worst polling miss in 40 years.
Republican pollster Patrick Ruffini analyzed 3,312 polls from the last four election cycles and found that 73 percent overstated Democratic support, averaging a 3.7-point error.
Only 6% of people actually respond to polls, and that number drops further among voters who believe their political views could get them put on a government list.
Every Senate race right now sits inside the margin of error – nobody is polling above 50% and holding it. The media is calling these races for Democrats. The media called 2016 for Hillary too.
CNN's own modeling found that a three-point polling miss – consistent with Ruffini's numbers – puts Republicans at 53 Senate seats in November.
The Furious Republican Voter the 2026 Midterm Polls Cannot Find
The so-called "shy Republican voter" isn't shy – he's furious.
Jack Smith put his name on a government list because he bought a red hat. Facebook buried his posts every time he said something the Biden administration didn't like. His political opinions got labeled a "threat to democracy" by a president whose 2020 victory depended on Democrati turnout models nobody has replicated since. And now a stranger calls and asks who he's voting for. Of course he hangs up.
The question heading into November 3rd isn't whether Republican enthusiasm exists – Conway made clear it does. It's whether conservatives who have every reason to distrust every institution that has come at them can be convinced that showing up at the polls is different from showing up in someone's data file. It is, and that distinction is the whole ballgame.
Trump is already on the trail delivering the same message, telling reluctant conservatives that wanting to show up and actually showing up are two completely different things.
They built this entire system to make you believe it's already decided.
Show up anyway.
