A shadow looms over Buckingham Palace after King Charles III and Princess Catherine of Wales announced cancer diagnoses earlier this year.

These horrifying prognoses have put the future of the British royal family in doubt, with many fearing the worst for this age-old family.

But Kate Middleton just made an announcement that has millions breathing a sigh of relief.

Princess Kate appears to be out of the woods

Earlier this year, King Charles III and Princess Catherine of Wales publicly revealed cancer diagnoses.

These announcements have many Britons and royal family watchers fearing the future of the British royal family, given that King Charles III serves as the reigning monarch and Princess Catherine will serve as the future Queen and matriarch of the royal family.

However, on Monday, Princess Kate delivered some much-needed good news about her cancer battle.

In a social media post, Princess Kate told the world, “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.”

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown,” the 42-year-old British royal added.

She then provided a glimmer of positivity, adding, “William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.”

Although it appears that the worst is over for Princess Catherine, King Charles III’s future remains a bit more uncertain.

Reports indicate that his treatments have gone well, with sources close to the royal family claiming that he remains in good spirits.

Charles III has also started to appear in public more often, fulfilling public duties with joy, as compared to President Joe Biden who has stayed out of the limelight despite not having any serious ailments such as cancer.

In the coming months, Britons and the billions of people who adore them hope for a clean bill of health for the 75-year-old King.

King Charles and Princess Catherine have not had an easy journey

While King Charles and Princess Catherine battle cancer, or recover from treatments in the case of Catherine, some of their family members have made moves that certainly did not help their recovery.

Most notably, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have stayed in the spotlight, criticizing the royal family left and right.

Markle even recently announced the release of a memoir, which will almost certainly trash the royal family.

These stresses have almost certainly made Charles’ and Kate’s recovery much more difficult.
