Elon Musk was Donald Trump’s number-one supporter during the campaign.

Musk now heads up the Department of Government of Efficiency (DOGE).

And Karoline Leavitt snapped over one question about Elon Musk.

Karoline Leavitt swats down Fake News Media lies about Donald Trump

Elon Musk and DOGE are slashing and burning the Deep State to the ground.

President Trump and DOGE effectively shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

DOGE’s goal is to identify $2 trillion in spending cuts that Musk says will bring down prices and end the inflation crisis.

Musk and DOGE are highly effective as evidenced by the number of hit pieces the fake news media churns out attacking them nonstop.

The latest fake news ploy to destroy Musk is an attempt by the press to elevate Musk to the status of President in hopes it will drive Donald Trump crazy and cause him to fire Musk.

TIME Magazine tried to run this play with a cover depicting Musk sitting behind the President’s desk.

Reporters tried to push the narrative that Elon Musk is the real President in the press briefing.

One reporter asked Leavitt, “Does Musk have power over the Presidency?”

It was an utterly insulting question designed to sow division between Trump and Musk.

Leavitt treated it with the disrespect it deserved.

“Absolutely not,” Leavitt replied.

But the reporter wouldn’t give up asking Leavitt about how Democrats like January 6 Committee hoaxer Jamie Raskin claimed Congress should impeach Musk since he was the one really calling the shots.

“I ask that question because, you know, the Democrats have been hurling insults at on Elon Musk — hurling attacks, calling him President Musk. Most recently, Jamie Raskin, the congressman took it a step further, calling for Musk’s impeachment, saying that he somehow usurped the power of the presidency. What’s your response?” the reporter followed up.

Leavitt couldn’t believe she had to answer questions like this, noting that both Musk and Trump spoke to this in the Oval Office and Musk said he works at the President’s direction.

“It’s utterly ridiculous. Elon Musk addressed this in the Oval Office yesterday. The president addressed it as well. Elon Musk is serving at the pleasure of the president, just like everybody else on this team,” Leavitt added.

Leavitt called this line of questioning out for what it was – a desperate attempt to divide and conquer from a news media that sees itself losing every day to President Trump.

“He takes directives directly from the president of the United States. And I think some of the comments that you refer to are nothing more than a failed attempt from the media and from Democrats to try to sow division in this White House. We saw them do it in the first term. We’re not going to let them do it in the second term. This is a unified team who is working at the pleasure of the president to do what’s right for the American people,” Leavitt concluded.
