The FBI is up to its old tricks again, with the 2024 election ramping up.

But the Bureau didn’t count on having to deal with a colorful Senator from Louisiana.

And John Kennedy just took apart one awful hoax by the FBI against Donald Trump.

FBI Director pushes left-wing hoax against Donald Trump

Former President Donald Trump’s shooting at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania shocked the country.

But for Democrats, it was an opportunity to push another hoax against him.

MSNBC and Democrat social media accounts created a conspiracy theory that Trump might not have been shot.

This quickly became a talking point on MSNBC among personalities like Joy Reid and Michael Steele.

“We still don’t know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet, whether he was hit by glass fragments, whether he was hit by shrapnel — we don’t have those details,” Reid said.

Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) – Trump’s former White House doctor – checked him out the day after the shooting and said his ear was grazed with a bullet.

But that wasn’t enough for disgraced and unemployed former ESPN host Keith Olbermann.

“In brief: Ronny Jackson isn’t a doctor. Which is perfect, because Trump wasn’t hit by a bullet,” Olbermann said.

This hoax was confined to the internet and MSNBC before FBI Director Christopher Wray pushed it in Congress.

“I think with respect to former President Trump there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that, you know, hit his ear,” Wray said in testimony to the House Judiciary Committee.

The FBI did damage control by putting out a statement saying Trump was indeed struck by a bullet after his testimony.

But Wray never recanted or apologized for parroting a hoax.

John Kennedy goes to work on the FBI

U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) wasn’t having any of Wray’s hoax about the Trump shooting.

He grilled FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate about it during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

“Is there any doubt in your mind, or in the collective mind of the FBI, that President Trump was shot in the ear by a bullet fired by the assassin Crooks?” Kennedy asked.

“Senator, there’s absolutely no doubt in the FBI’s mind whether former President Trump was hit with a bullet and wounded in the ear. No doubt, there never has been,” Abbate replied. “I’ve been part of this investigation since the very beginning, and that has never been raised.”

Abbate conveniently had amnesia about his boss, raising doubt about it just days earlier before the House.

“It wasn’t a space laser?” Kennedy asked. “It wasn’t a murder hornet? It wasn’t Sasquatch?”

A startled Abbate answered no to each of Kennedy’s questions.

“It was a bullet? Fired by Crooks? That hit President Trump in the ear and almost killed him?” Kennedy stated.

“100% percent, senator,” Abbate replied.

Kennedy said that he was “glad” that the question was cleared up.
