Senator John Fetterman inserted himself in the middle of another fight.

Fetterman was disappointed yet again.

And John Fetterman hit Donald Trump with a nasty surprise that he will hate.

John Fetterman comes out against key Trump nominees

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman looks like he wants to run for President in 2028.

Fetterman is road-testing a new message: He says conservative-sounding things in public so swing voters think he’s a moderate, but he votes the Democratic line when it matters to maintain the trust of the left-wing base.

Fetterman put this strategy into practice when he described the Democrat brand as “toxic” to male voters in an interview with Puck News’s Tara Palmeri.

But Fetterman followed that by announcing he was voting against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard’s nominations to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services and Director of National Intelligence respectively.

“I have met with most of the cabinet nominees and have carefully watched their confirmation hearings. After considering what’s at stake, I have voted against moving forward to the confirmation of Ms. Gabbard and Mr. Kennedy, and will be voting NO on their confirmations,” Fetterman posted on X.

One reason the Democrat brand is so toxic with men is that Democrats censored anyone who opposed COVID mandates and supported endless wars in Ukraine that are largely fought by young men.

Fetterman could have shown he was a moderate by breaking with Democrat Party orthodoxy on those issues and voting to confirm Kennedy and Gabbard.

But Fetterman knows that RINOs like Mitch McConnell and Lisa Murkowski are likely to oppose both, meaning there is a good chance Fetterman would be the 51st vote that gets them confirmed.

Fetterman would never cross the Left in that way so he will vote no while fraudulently pretending to be a Trump supporter.

Fetterman also opposed Russ Vought’s confirmation as Director of the Office of Management and Budget because Vought believes in cutting spending.

“Last year, I called out the dangers of Project 2025 and the damage it’d do to our country. Americans were assured the Trump team had no ties to it—then nominated one of its authors to lead OMB. My view has not changed and I will be a hard NO on Mr. Vought,” Fetterman said in a post on X.

Kennedy’s running mate Nicole Shanahan called Fetterman out for being a charlatan by talking big in public about how Democrats need to appeal to men when in reality he is a “lazy slob.”

“Fetterman toys with the idea of being a strong American Man, but he is a lazy slob who can’t get to the gym in spite of wearing gym clothes all day long. I do not expect someone who can’t manage to dress themself to make good decisions, let alone those as important as the health of a nation,” Shanahan posted on X.

“I’m not trolling. This is an honest assessment given the outfit he wore to the President of the United States Inauguration. What can you realistically expect from someone who treats the American people like this?” Shanahan concluded.
