Joe Biden is trying to ram as many of Democrats’ environmental extremist policies into law as possible before November’s election.

But one dark secret about his green energy scheme is being exposed.

And Joe Biden is feeling the heat now that his role in this ugly green energy scandal has been exposed.

Radical environmental groups are writing government policy under Joe Biden

President Joe Biden has made forcing as many of Democrats’ environmental extremist schemes into law as possible a top priority for his regime.

Virtually every one of the major bills he’s signed into law throughout his time in office have been filled with billions of taxpayer dollars for Democrats’ environmental extremist agenda.

And at the top of Biden’s environmental extremist to-do list has been advancing Democrats’ efforts to ban working-class Americans from owning many common household appliances in the name of supposedly fighting climate change.

The Biden regime ended up in hot water after Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. admitted that a ban on gas stoves was on the table.

The Biden Department of Energy has rolled out radical new regulations on appliances like stoves, washing machines, refrigerators, and water heaters.

Press releases from the Biden DOE announcing the regulations mentioned that they were supposedly created with input from a “wide range of stakeholders.”

The Washington Free Beacon uncovered the fact that the “wide range of stakeholders” crafting these regulations were simply radical left-wing environmental extremists and other woke activists from Democrat-controlled groups.

These groups included the Consumer Federation of America, Appliance Standards Awareness Project, American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, Earthjustice, National Consumer Law Center, and National Resources Defense Council.

Those groups are funded by major left-wing nonprofits, like the Bloomberg Family Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and Hewlett Foundation.

Unelected left-wing extremists run the Biden regime

Competitive Enterprise Institute senior fellow Ben Lieberman told the Free Beacon that working-class consumers were taking a backseat to activist groups.

“If the agency is going to rely on these far-left groups, who have never met a regulation they didn’t like, the results are going to be obvious. And that’s what we are seeing,” Lieberman said. “The reality of these negotiations is that the true interests of consumers never have a seat at the table.”

Targeting consumer appliances is simply another feature of the Biden regime’s environmental extremist scheme.

“These groups—they are really far, far left and are pushing a larger agenda that sacrifices consumers, rather than helping consumers, and I would include the so-called consumer groups,” Lieberman continued. “This is an anti-energy and climate change agenda that comes at the expense of consumers.”

Residential housing is being blamed for generating greenhouse gasses.

Strict efficiency standards for new appliances are sold to the public as a way to save consumers money and reduce emissions.

But the savings never happen because often it would take decades of ownership for them to ever materialize.

The end result is consumers pay more upfront for an appliance that doesn’t work as well as what it replaces.

Former Trump Energy Department official Daniel Simmons said these groups have misguided priorities.

“None of the consumer groups that the department cites really have a focus on the upfront costs of appliances or the utility of appliances,” Simmons said in an interview. “They are much more concerned about, say, the cost of the appliance over time, which is important, but if you cannot afford to buy an energy-efficient appliance because of the upfront cost, it really doesn’t matter how efficient it is over time.”

Joe Biden is making everyone’s life more expensive and miserable because his regime is run by left-wing environmental extremist groups.
