Democrats try to get Joe Biden to drop out of the race
The charade came to an end when President Joe Biden faced off with former President Donald Trump at the CNN debate in Atlanta, Georgia.
Democrats and their media allies have spent Biden’s first term in office trying to gaslight the public into thinking everything was fine with the President.
Countless videos of the President stumbling around confused, freezing up, or displaying bizarre behavior were dismissed by pundits, like MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, boasted that Biden was better than ever behind closed doors.
In fact, Democrats and their media allies are now going so far as to simply declare every video of the Democrat President’s significant physical and cognitive decline “cheap fakes.”
All the lies about Biden’s fitness for office unraveled during a historically bad debate performance.
Biden spent 90 minutes stumbling over his words while being in a general state of confusion with a weak, raspy voice.
“I don’t know if he knows what he said, either,” Trump said after one of Biden’s jumbled answers. “I don’t think he knows what he said, either.”
That will most likely be the most consequential Presidential debate in American history.
Negative reactions poured in from normally Biden-friendly media outlets like CNN and MSNBC.
“Biden is toast — calling it now,” New Hampshire Democrat activist and attorney Jay Surdukowski said.
Former Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) told MSNBC that Biden failed at his one mission during the debate.
“My job right now is to be really honest. Joe Biden had one thing he had to do tonight. And he didn’t do it,” McCaskill said. “He had one thing he had to accomplish. And that was reassure America that he was up to the job at his age. And he failed at that tonight.”
One of Biden’s major donors gave a blunt message to Politico.
“Biden needs to drop out. No question about it,” the donor said.
Joe Biden is going to get a tough talk
Democrats have realized that President Biden is an electoral liability that could bring down the entire ticket.
“The movement to convince Biden to not run is real,” an anonymous House Democrat told Politico.
This House Democrat said that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) should make “a combined effort” to get Biden to drop out of the race.
A Biden advisor told Politico that no one was looking forward to talking to the President about stepping aside.
“It’s got to be a conversation, and he will hate it,” the advisor said.
CNN Senior Political Commentator David Axelrod – former President Barack Obama’s chief strategist – said that talk about Biden’s future is forthcoming.
“There are going to be discussions about if he should continue,” Axelrod said.
Democrats came to the public support of Biden like Obama and California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom.
But behind closed doors, a tough conversation is underway among Democrats about the future of Joe Biden as the party’s Presidential nominee.
