Donald Trump is trying to tie up loose ends before he takes office.

His legal team is trying to squash the lawfare Democrats waged against him.

And Joe Biden inadvertently gave Donald Trump a massive boost that has Alvin Bragg in a total meltdown.

Trump’s legal team looks to leverage Hunter Biden’s pardon

President-elect Donald Trump is trying to slam the door shut on the lawfare Democrats have waged against him before he’s inaugurated on January 20.

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal cases against him were dismissed and Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis’ case is hanging by a thread.

Democrat Judge Juan Merchan delayed sentencing indefinitely for Trump’s conviction on 34 fake felony charges created by Soros-backed Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg after the election outcome.

Trump’s legal team filed a motion to have the Manhattan criminal case thrown out, citing President Joe Biden’s condemnation of the justice system in his pardon for Hunter Biden.

“As President Biden put it yesterday, ‘Enough is enough,'” Trump’s attorneys argued. “This case, which should never have been brought, must now be dismissed.”

Biden issued a blanket pardon for his son after months of claiming he wouldn’t.

The Democrat President argued that Hunter was the victim of an unfair justice system that was politically persecuting him.

Biden thinks his Justice Department is corrupt

In a statement, Biden said his son was being “selectively and unfairly prosecuted.”

“I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice,” Biden said of the criminal case against his son.

This is, of course, laughable because he’s accusing his Justice Department, led by his handpicked Attorney General, Merrick Garland, of politically persecuting his own son.

Trump’s legal team wasn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Biden’s comments on the justice system apply to Trump’s case, according to the President-elect’s legal team.

“These comments amounted to an extraordinary condemnation of President Biden’s own DOJ,” Trump’s attorneys wrote. “This is the same DOJ that coordinated and oversaw the politically-motivated, election-interference witch hunts targeting President Trump by disgraced Special Counsel Jack Smith, the other biased prosecutors in Smith’s Special Counsel’s Office (‘SCO’), and others. This is the same DOJ that sent Matthew Colangelo to DA Bragg to help unfairly target President Trump in this empty and lawless case.”

Trump’s legal team argued the Manhattan case should be dismissed because of Presidential immunity.

Bragg’s case had to be dismissed because it “disrupts President Trump’s transition efforts and his preparations to wield the full Article II executive power authorized by the Constitution pursuant to the overwhelming national mandate granted to him by the American people on November 5, 2024.”

Trump’s attorney slammed the novel legal theory that Bragg created to find a way to get something to stick against Trump.

His legal team in Georgia also asked the state court of appeals to dismiss the Fulton County case brought by Willis against him.

Democrats made a big bet that lawfare would be a game-changer in the 2024 Election, but it looks like it will be going out with a whimper.
