J.D. Vance shuts down phony narrative about being a bad pick
Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) is facing a relentless onslaught orchestrated by Democrats, the media, and the RINO establishment after he was picked to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate.
Trump has had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at him over the last eight years.
Now, Vance is facing a similar barrage of attacks.
A phony narrative developed in the media that he was a bad Vice Presidential pick, but it’s abundantly clear that such a narrative is the product of ruling-class Democrats and establishment RINOs who loathe his opposition to their proxy war against Russia in Ukraine.
Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo put Vance on the spot during an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures.
“You’ve got a lot of people talking about you on both the Democrat side and the Republican side,” Bartiromo said. “You’ve heard the chatter. “Some people are saying you were the wrong pick for Trump’s running mate. What are you doing about it?”
Vance ripped the vultures in the media who’ve led the charge against him.
“Well, Maria, all I can do is go out there and prosecute the case against Kamala Harris and remind people that things were more prosperous and more peaceful when Donald Trump was President,” Vance replied. “Look, I recognize that there are a lot of folks, even in the GOP establishment and certainly on the far left, who don’t like the fact that Donald Trump picked me.”
He said the attacks were a sign of his effectiveness.
“I actually take their criticism as a badge of honor,” Vance continued. “Of course, the media is going to attack the people they fear the most. The media is going to attack the people, I think, who can most effectively bring President Trump’s message to a broader swath of the electorate.”
Vance dismantles a weird line of attack against him
Democrats and their media allies have been calling Vance “weird” as part of their attacks.
“What do you say about this new strategy to call you weird from the Democrats?” Bartiromo asked.
“I think that it’s a lot of projection, frankly, Maria, from people who want to give transgender hormones to 9-year-old kids and want biological males to play in women’s sports,” Vance said.
The Harris campaign tried to label Vance’s beliefs as “weird.”
“Look, I’m a husband, I’m a father, I’m happily married, and I love my life,” Vance added. “And I’m doing this because I want to be a good public servant who fixes the problems of the Democrats. They can call me whatever they want to. The middle school taunts don’t bother me.”
J.D. Vance is the heir to Trump’s political movement.
That’s why Democrats and the establishment want to destroy him before he gets his political career off the ground.
