The media is on a mission to destroy J.D. Vance after he became Donald Trump’s running mate.

He’s not going to pull any punches defending himself.

And J.D. Vance dropped the hammer on a CNN host after this attack.

Media on the defensive about Walz’ stolen valor

It didn’t take long under the white-hot national spotlight before Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz was exposed for lying about his military service in order to advance his political career.

Despite claiming to have been “in war” to advance Democrats’ gun control agenda, he was never deployed to a combat zone during his time in the Army National Guard.

Walz also lied about retiring with the rank of Command Sergeant Major on the Harris-Walz campaign website and the Minnesota Governor’s website, in countless media appearances, and at numerous public events.

He retired as a Master Sergeant after he failed to complete the necessary requirements to get bumped up to the Command Sergeant Major rank.

These were blatant lies that he was caught making on numerous occasions since his first Congressional run in 2006.

Military service was a big part of Walz’ bio that got him selected as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.

Former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), who is also a veteran of the Marine Corps, and actually served in a warzone in Iraq, has been hammering Walz for lying about military service.

The media is flailing, trying to defend the Minnesota Governor after he was caught red-handed lying.

CNN host Brianna Keilar decided to attack Vance – who deployed to Iraq with the Marine Corps – for his service in response.

She had the gall to falsely accuse Vance of embellishing his service record.

“At what point did military service become a liability?” Keilar asked on CNN’s Inside Politics. “I also think that J.D. Vance as a messenger on this may be an imperfect messenger.”

Keilar tried to lie about Vance’s job title with the Marines to make it seem like he was the one who falsely claimed to be in combat.

“You introduced him as a combat correspondent, which was what his title was, but when you dig a little deeper into that, he was a public affairs specialist, someone who did not see combat, which certainly the title ‘combat correspondent’ kind of gives you a different impression,” Keilar continued. “So he may be the imperfect messenger on that.”

J.D. Vance fires back

Combat correspondent is a military occupational specialty (MOS) used to describe a specific job in the Marine Corps.

Keilar is reeling, defending Walz, so she thought she could trick the audience into thinking that Vance was in the wrong.

Vance dropped the hammer on her on social media.

“It’s easy to sit in the comfort and safety of a [CNN] studio and trivialize the service of countless men and women who risked their lives. I served with some of the people mentioned in this thread. I miss them all very much. Shameful of [Brianna Keilar] to slander an entire MOS,” Vance wrote on X.

Keilar was later forced to offer a mealy-mouthed apology.

The media is on their heels trying to cover for Tim Walz after he came out of the gate with a major scandal.
