Donald Trump’s first week as President is in the books.

Americans haven’t seen anything quite like it.

And Greg Gutfeld marveled at the one promise Trump kept that sent Democrats into disarray.

Donald Trump returned to office promising to shake up Washington, D.C.

Not even some of his biggest supporters understood just how true to his word Trump would be.

On Fox News, Greg Gutfeld could barely contain his glee over the flurry of victories Trump racked up in his first week in office.

“I don’t think there’s been any Republican President that’s had a week like this. I don’t remember it. The party has never been this effective or successful in my – in my lifetime,” Gutfeld gushed.

Trump ordered the Marines to the southern border with 1,500 arriving to protect American sovereignty.

Trump issued an executive order to end birthright citizenship for anchor babies.

Trump also ended DEI across the federal government and ordered the firing of anyone working in those departments.

Trump also proved the decisive factor in a ceasefire deal between Israel and Gaza.

Trump halted the weaponization of the government by pardoning more than 1,500 January 6 defendants as well as 23 Pro-Life activists Joe Biden threw in jail for praying in front of abortion clinics.

Rasmussen reports show Trump with a 53 percent job approval rating.

Gutfeld explained that the majority of Americans support Trump because the executive orders Trump signed weren’t ideological in nature, but just simple common sense.

“I mean, maybe over time, it happens. But this, you can’t have a better week than this. And a lot of this stuff that he’s doing, you know, in the executive orders. But also, here is a layup, because the solutions were always there. It’s just that the Dems refused to accept them. It was a failure, not just of common sense, but also a failure of will. No one is having any issue with what Trump is doing. They just didn’t know it wasn’t being done. They didn’t know what they were missing, including in disasters,” Gutfeld continued.

Trump also traveled to North Carolina, Florida, and California to tour areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene and the wildfires.

On this tour, Americans witnessed images the likes of which they had never seen before as, in North Carolina, Trump invited citizens to speak at the podium to name and shame the insurance companies that denied their claims after they lost everything in the hurricane.

After four years of Joe Biden hiding in the basement to conceal his senility, Greg Gutfeld said Americans were rallying around Trump because Trump reminded them what it was like to have a real functioning President.

“And when you watch Trump act signing all these executive orders and attacking every problem, you just don’t — you don’t just see his effectiveness. You realize what was missing, a leader. We had four years without a leader, and now we’re acting like, wow, this feels pretty good. It’s like — it’s like having you — suddenly, you’re like, oh, now I know what this is like. This is how it works. Pretty good,” Gutfeld declared.
