Geraldo Rivera just did Donald Trump a massive favor by initiating this Obama-like attack on Hispanic voters

Democrats and their allies in the media are sounding the alarm bells over the recent string of lagging poll numbers for Kamala Harris.

She is struggling mightily to boost her numbers with demographics that have traditionally been in the back pockets of the Democrat Party.

And Geraldo Rivera just did Donald Trump a massive favor by initiating this Obama-like attack on Hispanic voters.

Many political pundits and analysts were surprised when Democrats selected Vice President Kamala Harris to replace President Joe Biden as their Presidential nominee.

Kamala Harris is notorious for her political incompetence.

Polls previously showed her as the least popular Vice President in the past 50 years with lower approval ratings than Joe Biden.

But Democrats thought they could sell a different version of Kamala to the American people by having her avoid speaking without the use of a teleprompter while their allies in the media pushed out glowing coverage about her campaign.

Their plan worked at first.

Kamala surged in the polls over Trump in the first few weeks after she entered the race.

But astute political observers knew Kamala’s honeymoon phase wouldn’t last forever.

After all, Kamala catapulted to the top of the polls in the 2020 Presidential Primary after she slammed Joe Biden as a racist in a Democrat debate.

But Kamala’s surge in the polls also meant she had to appear for interviews in the media.

Her surge quickly fizzled out the moment she had to answer unscripted questions without the use of a teleprompter, and she was forced to end her 2020 campaign in disgrace before the first votes even took place.

Kamala’s honeymoon surge this time around is also over.

With just over two weeks left until Election Day, the momentum is clearly in Donald Trump’s corner.

And Kamala Harris is facing a looming campaign disaster that has Democrats and the media in the frenzy.

As CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten recently admitted, Kamala is polling “very, very weak” when it comes to black voters.

This is a five alarm fire for Democrats, as they’ve traditionally been able to count on winning upwards of 90% of the black vote in every election since the 1960’s.

But as Enter pointed out, Kamala is currently sitting at “about half the margin that Obama won [black men] by back in November of 2012.”

Kamala recently called in Barack Obama to help her shore up her support amongst black men after an NAACP poll indicated that a quarter of black men under age 50 support Donald Trump.

But Obama scolded black men and essentially called them a bunch of “sexists.”

“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities, as we saw when I was running,” Obama said. “Now, I also want to say that seems to be more pronounced with the brothers,” Obama continued. “Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and reasons for that.”

But black voters are not the only block Democrats are losing to Trump.

Hispanic voters are also rallying behind Trump in record numbers.

And Geraldo Rivera is following Obama’s lead by trying to help Kamala shore up support among Hispanics.

During an appearance Monday on NewsNation’s Cuomo, Rivera began by falsely attacking Trump as “an absolute racist when it comes to speaking of particularly Latin, undocumented immigrants, comparing them basically to animals.”

Host Leland Vittert chimed in and reminded Rivera that “more Latinos are voting for Donald Trump or polling for Donald Trump now than in 2016 and in 2020.”

Like Obama, Geraldo Rivera also talked down and lectured Hispanics for supporting Trump.

“I don’t know how any Latino person of any self-esteem, any self-respect would be in favor of the ranting, the ‘poisoning the blood of the country,’” he said.

Democrats are freaking out over Donald Trump’s surging poll numbers among voting blocs they thought they had under their belt.

Trump previously enjoyed large support from minority voters.

And he is well on his way to setting a record in 2024.
