The attacks are ramping up against Donald Trump now that he’s back in the White House.
Democrats are willing to stoop to any low against him.
And Franklin Graham shut down one awful surprise attack against Donald Trump.
Left-wing bishop lectures Donald Trump during prayer service
President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, their spouses, and other elected Republicans attended the interfaith National Prayer Service held the day after the inauguration at the Washington National Cathedral.
One of the religious leaders used the service to lecture Trump about his agenda.
Episcopal bishop Mariann Budde gave a political speech from the pulpit aimed at Trump and Vance.
The service was supposed to be about unity but she made it clear she had no interest in that.
She urged them to show “mercy” on illegal aliens who are “scared” by the new administration.
Budde also called for them to show compassion to the gay and transgender population.
“In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy on the people in our country who are scared now,” Budde ranted. “There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives.”
The bishop has been a longtime critic of Trump and has attacked him in the pages of The New York Times.
Trump demanded that Budde give the public an apology after the service.
Franklin Graham slams the woke Bishop’s attack on Trump
Reverend Franklin Graham – the son of the late evangelist Billy Graham – criticized Budde for using the National Prayer Service for a political tirade against Trump during an appearance on Newsmax’s American Agenda.
“She was wrong to do that,” Graham said. “That was really a national forum, a national stage pulpit that she was standing in. And for her to use that for her own political agenda was wrong.”
Budde planned to use the National Prayer Service as a political stunt to become a Democrat resistance celebrity.
She appeared on ABC’s The View where she was praised for being fearless after the event.
Graham pointed out that it was the Biden administration who should be feeling the heat for a lack of compassion in creating the border crisis.
“These people suffered a lot to come here illegally,” Graham explained. “And the Biden administration is responsible for all of this mess. But the people need to go back and come in legally.”
“It has nothing to do with compassion. It’s to do what’s right to do,” Graham continued. “If you want to have compassion, then have the law the same for everybody. Don’t have a law for one group and another law for another group. No, it’s one law fits all.”
The Biden administration’s border crisis inflicted massive suffering on illegal aliens who tried to cross the southern border.
Women and children were beaten and raped by human traffickers trying to get into the country.
Budde conveniently ignored that awful reality during her politically charged tirade.
She’s a Democrat political operative masquerading as a religious leader.
Her trip to The View confirmed this was about a political stunt rather than trying to deliver a message of unity and faith at the National Prayer Service.
