People have been seeking real proof of Bigfoot for decades.

But that quest just cost two Bigfoot hunters their lives.

And now emergency crews found two lost Bigfoot hunters in a deadly scene no one could have imagined.

The world is still filled with mysteries

There are wonders and mysteries in this world that man has been looking to explain for tens of thousands of years – if not far longer.

Explorers traveled the high seas hundreds of years ago, fighting death on a daily basis, not knowing what was coming their way next, just to discover the great unknowns.

And as man has traveled across the world to discover the last remaining mysteries, one mystery still remains and has eluded mankind for hundreds of years: the whereabouts of Bigfoot.

The origins of Bigfoot go well beyond when Europeans settled North America.

But the Bigfoot frenzy we know today really took off in the 1960s after the world-famous Patterson–Gimlin film.

And ever since that film was released to the public, people across the United States have become avid Bigfoot hunters, bound and determined to show proof of the elusive massive primate in America.

Most of the times when these Bigfoot hunters go into the woods to find their target, they usually come back with nothing or stories of footprints and weird screams among the trees.

And their adventures usually come back with nothing to show and as uneventful as a normal stroll in the woods.

But two men from Portland, Oregon were bound and determined to have a trip they will never forget looking for Bigfoot.

Deadly Bigfoot hunt

And that trip ended up being their last.

Reports are coming out of Skamania County, Washington that two men were found dead in the woods late last week.

It all started when the Skamania County Communications Center received a call from family members of two men from Portland who were missing after a trip to find Bigfoot within the wilderness of the county.

They were supposed to come home on Christmas Eve but they never showed up.

After getting the report, volunteers from the surrounding area started working with local police to search for the two men in horrible conditions and awful terrain.

And, according to the Skamania’s Sheriff Office’s Facebook page, “After a grueling, three-day search over difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, the 59-year-old male and 37-year-old-male, both from Portland, Oregon, who were reported missing/endangered were located, deceased, in a heavily wooded area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.”

The Sheriff Offices also added that “both deaths appear to be due to exposure, based on weather conditions and ill-preparedness.”

This is a sad story all around.

It’s one thing to be an enthusiast or a hobbyist but going into the wild without proper supplies and clothing to hunt for a mysterious creature that no one has found after searching for over half a century is as dumb as it gets.

Not to mention they went looking for Bigfoot before Christmas when they could have been spending time with their loved ones for the holidays.

Maybe one day Bigfoot will be found but the primate won’t be found by hunters who don’t have enough common sense to pack the proper supplies needed to survive in Mother Nature.
