Elon Musk is a man who wears many hats.
He founded Tesla, launched SpaceX, owns X, and is now even heading up a newly created federal government department that is his brainchild.
And now Elon Musk just taught an anti-Trump terrorist a lesson he’ll never forget.
Terrorist attack outside Trump hotel
Reuters is reporting that the Las Vegas Sheriff’s department is still investigating the New Year’s Day Cybertruck explosion in front of the Trump hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Matthew Livelsberger reportedly rented a Tesla Cybertruck on December 28.
Livelsberger – who is supposedly an active duty Army Green Beret – allegedly filled the bed of the vehicle with fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel and used a detonation device to trigger the explosion.
But not before he committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth.
Below is a video of the bombing – warning, it is graphic.
There’s now video of the Cybertruck blowing up right in front of Trump Hotel in Vegas. This looks EXTREMELY suspicious, especially in light of the New Orleans terror attack. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/SoOUUaJQsv

While the FBI says it’s still investigating Livelsberger’s motives, it can’t be lost that he used a Tesla to bomb a Trump hotel on the first day of the year President-elect Donald Trump is set to return to the White House.
Of course, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk endorsed and donated to Trump’s election effort, and Trump tapped Musk to head-up the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside Vivek Ramaswamy.
Additionally, a picture of Livelsberger is circulating in which he wears a shirt showing support for Ukraine.

Fortunately, the intentional explosion only resulted in minor injuries.
In fact, it surprisingly led to only minimal damage.
But the founder of Tesla isn’t surprised, and he believes he knows why the bombing didn’t turn fatal.
“Cybertruck is the worst possible choice for a car bomb”
Sales for the Tesla Cybertruck are likely to go through the roof.
The botched terrorist attack turned out to be the best commercial Musk could have ever hoped for – especially because Musk doesn’t believe in spending money on traditional marketing for his companies.
Cybertruck is the worst possible choice for a car bomb, as its stainless steel armor will contain the blast better than any other commercial vehicle

According to the owner of Twitter, if Livelsberger wanted to send a message, he should have picked a different Tesla model.
“Cybertruck is the worst possible choice for a car bomb,” Musk tweeted. “As its stainless-steel armor will contain the blast better than any other commercial vehicle.”
Las Vegas Police credited the lack of damage to the Trump Hotel to the strength of the Cybertruck, noting that the “explosion went up and out.”
The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.

In fact, despite the huge blaze, the Cybertruck remained mostly intact.
“The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack,” Musk added. “Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards. Not even the glass doors of the lobby were broken.”
The strength and durability of the Cybertruck is clear – however, the reason behind the attack remains muddy.
Are the New Year’s Day terrorist attacks linked?
A few hours before the Las Vegas terrorist attack, a man in New Orleans drove a pick-up truck through the crowd of a Bourbon Street New Year’s Eve celebration.
And there are some eerie similarities between the two attacks.
NEW: The Cybertruck explosion suspect has been identified as 37 year old former Army veteran Matthew Livelsberger, according to local news reports.
Livelsberger reportedly served at the same military base as New Orleans terrorist suspect Shamsud Din Jabbar.

Both Livelsberger and New Orleans suspect Shamsud Din Jabbar chose New Year’s Day to execute their respective attacks.
They both rented automobiles from car sharing marketplace, Turo.
Each of them has ties to the U.S. Army.
And even more troubling, according to the Daily Mail, both Livelsberger and Jabbar served at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
This could all be a coincidence – or it’s not.
