Donald Trump is filling out his team for his second term in office.

Trump has always made unconventional hiring choices.

And Donald Trump extended one job offer to Mel Gibson that no one could believe.

Donald Trump taps three icons as Hollywood ambassadors

Donald Trump extended an olive branch to Hollywood.

Even though Tinseltown is filled with lunatic left-wing actors, directors, and screenwriters, Donald Trump is committed to making all of America great again.

That’s why Trump tapped Gibson, Jon Voight, and Sylvester Stallone as his ambassadors to Hollywood to help bring the movie business back to America, specifically, studios filming major motion pictures back in the States.

“It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California. They will serve as Special Envoys to me to bring Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!” Trump concluded.

Voight is well-known as one of the most outspoken conservatives in Hollywood.

But Gibson and Stallone were never open about their politics.

Gibson served as an executive producer of the 2023 smash hit movie, The Sound of Freedom.

Stallone began appearing at Mar-a-Lago after the election as Trump’s popular vote win ended the idea that Americans needed to self-censor.

Gibson released a statement accepting the offer and joking about whether or not the position came with an Ambassador’s residence as diplomatic posts do.

“I heed the call. My duty as a citizen is to give any help and insight I can. Any chance the position comes with an Ambassador’s residence?” Gibson quipped.

Gibson has become one of the faces of the damage done by the California wildfires.

The fires destroyed Gibson’s Malibu home and Gibson emerged as one of the outspoken critics of California Governor Gavin Newsom’s left-wing policies that left the state unprepared to contain these fires.

When Gibson toured the rubble of his home he asked firefighters about the reservoirs Newsom left empty.

The firefighters admitted they didn’t have the resources necessary to combat these wildfires.

“It’s not uncommon for us to lose water in our firefight. It’s just that early in the game was surprising,” one of the firefighters told Gibson.

“Because yeah, it wasn’t there. And no one told you? That’s crazy,” Gibson replied.

Gibson’s home burned down while he taped an episode of the Joe Rogan podcast where they discussed how ill-prepared Newsom left the state.

“We were just talking about the wildfire situation and how crazy it is that they spent $24 billion last year on the homeless, and what did they spend on preventing these wildfires?” Rogan asked Gibson

“Zero,” Gibson shot back. “Zip.”

Gibson couldn’t believe Newsom’s misplaced priorities.

“In 2019, I think Newsom said, you know, ‘I’m going to take care of the forest and maintain the forest’ and do all that kind of stuff,” Gibson added. “He didn’t do anything.”

But now Gibson – along with Stallone and Voight – are officially part of Trump’s team.

Part of rebuilding southern California requires rebuilding the economy.

And that means rebuilding the movie business, which is the task at hand for Stallone, Voight, and Gibson.
