Democrats realize their grand schemes are coming to an end, and they are closing ranks to protect themselves from their own wrongdoings.

NBC News’ Kirsten Welker attempted to push President-elect Donald Trump into a corner by asking for his comments on reports that outgoing President Joe Biden is considering preemptive pardons for some of the President-elect’s persecutors.

Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) and disgraced former Representative Liz Cheney (RINO-WY) were mentioned as possible targets.

They led the House inquisition into Trump, which destroyed evidence and reached an obviously foregone conclusion.

Welker questioned whether the two and the disgraced Dr. Anthony Fauci would regret not receiving pardons if Biden declines — or forgets — to follow through.

Trump wasted no time in declaring that Vice President Kamala Harris committed a serious campaign gaffe when she trotted Cheney out as a supporter.

After all, Cheney’s credibility evaporated as the committee’s “investigation” was exposed as a sham.

The President-elect revealed that when he saw Harris send Cheney out on the campaign trail, he knew, “That’s the end of Kamala.”

Trump described Cheney’s actions on the committee as “inexcusable.” He correctly noted that the inquisitors on the “unselect committee” sifted through a year and a half of testimony before deleting and destroying “all evidence.”

Why?

Because former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had more than ample opportunity to take proper precautions on January 6 that would have ensured crowd control.

Instead, Trump explained to an obviously flustered Welker that “she turned down 10,000 troops [and] we wouldn’t have had a J6.”

Then, Trump shredded Democrats’ accusation that he “attacked two Secret Service agents” and grabbed one around the neck.

Agents, Trump noted, who are two of the toughest men around and “happen to be slightly younger than me.”

The January 6 Committee blatantly lied, as every honest person knows, and Trump declared that everyone on the Committee should go to jail.

Trump skewered the left-wing host for her repeatedly slanted questions, shocking her by stating that he wished she could be “non-biased” and that she had “such potential.”

If only she were not a shill for Democrats.

The election marked the death of the mainstream media

When the final eulogy is written for the so-called “mainstream” media, the cause of death will be the nation’s overwhelming decision on November 5.

After all, the corporate press was unified in its dismissal of Trump and his “garbage” followers, trumpeting the Harris campaign as the greatest in human history.

But something funny happened on the way to the Democrat’s coronation.

The people spoke, rejecting Democrats’ prepackaged media message, and using truth and reason to select the best man to lead the nation forward.
