Democrats nationwide are scrambling to out woke each other by proclaiming how far they’re willing to go to oppose Donald Trump.
From pledging to boost sex change numbers in their states to comparisons to Tiananmen Square, they’re throwing everything they can against the wall in the hope something sticks.
But Donald Trump couldn’t help but laugh after this Democrat made one anti-American vow he’s already regretting.
Democrats don’t actually care about the will of the people or “protecting democracy,” as they’ve claimed.
All they care about is gaining and maintaining power.
It doesn’t matter that President-elect Donald Trump had a 9-point advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris when it came to who voters trust to handle the illegal immigration crisis, according to exit polling data.
And it certainly doesn’t matter to them that the president won the last election in a landslide and thus has a mandate to govern from voters.
That’s why Democrat Governors and Mayors are scrambling to “Trump-proof” their Democrat-controlled states.
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston recently said he was going to have Denver Police at the county line to stop the Trump administration from apprehending criminal illegal aliens.
“More than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” he said. “It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right? You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them.”
This delusional Denver Democrat must be Rocky Mountain high to believe suburban moms will fight the federal government to the death in order to protect the criminals who are terrorizing their neighborhoods.
But not to be outdone, the Democrat mayor of Frederick, Maryland vowed to use his citizens’ tax dollars to protect criminals from being deported by the Trump administration.
“This fund will provide resources to community partners for Frederick residents who may be harmed by policies from the new administration, ensuring they have the legal support they need to stand strong and remain in this community they have chosen to call home,” the Mayor’s office told reporters.
Thankfully, Trump picked former acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Tom Homan to be his Border Czar.
One could argue that Tom Homan is just as dedicated to ending illegal immigration as Trump.
And all of these loud-mouthed leftists’ comments have been brought to Tom Homan’s attention.
That’s why during a recent interview on Fox News, Homan said he’d be willing to jail the Denver Mayor or anyone who has broken the law.
That’s all taxpayers have ever wanted from law enforcement: someone to actually enforce the laws on the books.
America was founded upon the idea that all men are created equal, and thus our laws must also be applied equally.
Whether or not Democrat Mayors, like O’Connor and Johnston, will be singing the same tune after Trump is back in the White House remains to be seen.
