Trump named Time’s Person of the Year
President-elect Donald Trump completed the greatest comeback in American political history when he trounced Vice President Kamala Harris to win the election.
He dealt with more obstacles than any Presidential candidate ever had on the campaign trail.
Trump faced two attempted assassinations in two months, Democrats swapping out President Joe Biden for Kamala, and the system lined up against him.
It was only natural that Time named him its Person of the Year for 2024.
He won the Person of the Year award in 2016 after he won the election.
“Trump’s political rebirth is unparalleled in American history,” Time stated.
The magazine noted that he is the “world’s most powerful man” and helped “realign American politics” while reshaping the Republican Party.
“For marshaling a comeback of historic proportions, for driving a once-in-a-generation political realignment, for reshaping the American presidency and altering America’s role in the world, Donald Trump is Time’s 2024 Person of the Year,” Time wrote.
Don Lemon loses it over Donald Trump’s Person of the Year win
After Trump survived being shot during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, and won the election, it should have been a no-brainer for anyone to see he would be named Person of the Year.
Former CNN host Don Lemon raged at Time for picking Trump for the honor on a TikTok live.
“Is this a joke?” Lemon fumed.
Every winner of the Presidential election since 2000 has been named Person of the Year by Time.
“If they wanted to make someone Person of the Year, I don’t know, they could’ve done it with any person. They could have done it to someone who actually stood for democracy, who stands for democracy in the country,” Lemon ranted.
Lemon was furious that Democrats’ lawfare against Trump didn’t tarnish his reputation.
“You have someone on the cover of your magazine who is an adjudicated assaulter,” Lemon raved. “You have someone who inspired an insurrection. We have someone who, without a doubt, the evidence is there, tried to overturn a free and fair election. You had someone who had multiple criminal accounts and was found guilty on multiple criminal counts. And you name them Person of The Year.”
The former CNN host was in stunned disbelief that the award was even real.
“Is this a joke? Did we get something wrong? Did someone scam us?” Lemon ranted. “Are we sure about this, producers? There is a convicted felon on the cover of Time Magazine as the Person of the Year. Maybe we’re being scammed. Did someone put out a fake tweet or something about this? I don’t know.”
Donald Trump is headed back to the White House while Don Lemon is left whining on a Chinese social media app after he was fired from CNN.
