Donald Trump recently appeared for a sit-down interview with the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago.

It was clear from the start that the self-proclaimed “journalists” on the panel were on a mission to make the former President look as bad as possible.

But Byron Donalds revealed what Donald Trump’s interview with the National Association of Black Journalists taught Americans about Kamala Harris.

Former President Donald Trump’s appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago caught many by surprise, not only because of the fireworks that ensued but also by the way it was all received by the wider public, especially black voters.

ABC News’ Rachel Scott kicked off the interview with a nasty line of attacks against Trump that she attempted to disguise as a question.

But Trump fired back with his response.

“Well first of all, I don’t think I’ve ever been asked a question in such a horrible manner, first question,” Trump said. “You don’t even say hello or how are you.”

“Are you with ABC because I think they’re a fake news network, a terrible network,” he added. “I think it’s disgraceful that I came here in good spirit,” he continued before adding, “I love the black population of this country, I’ve done so much for the black population of this country, including employment, including opportunity zones with Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina.”

Trump said that they told him his opponent, whether it be President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris, would also be at the event and refused to allow him to do it online through Zoom.

However, Harris didn’t show up, and the organization is now allowing her to speak to them over Zoom later this year.

This event was a setup designed to damage Trump due to the fact that polls tend to show he’s making legitimate inroads with the black community.

As one of Trump’s biggest supporters in Congress – not to mention a black American – Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) did not appreciate how the former President was treated at the event.

“Today, President Trump entered a hostile environment, highlighted his historic accomplishments, and spoke directly to the issues that matter: Securing the border; Reducing (Joe) Biden-Harris inflation; Restoring energy independence,” Donalds posted on X. “Fostering tough conversations and debate is how we Make America Great Again for all Americans.”

Donalds then pointed out what Trump’s appearance should show every American about the difference between him and Harris.

Harris is afraid to appear in public and answer tough questions because she knows she can’t defend her record and woke extremist agenda, while Trump is willing to go anywhere and answer whatever questions are thrown his way because he has the record and agenda to back up his talk.

“Unlike Kamala Harris, President Trump is not afraid of going into any venue, any time, anywhere, and today was no exception,” Donalds concluded.
