Brandon Gill Told Sean Hannity What’s Holding the Democrat Party Together and Both Are Bad News

The Democrat Party spent four years telling Americans they were the responsible ones.

Now they can't agree on what they stand for – and a Texas congressman just exposed the real reason why on national television.

What Gill said on Hannity recently isn't something the DNC can spin away – and the evidence he didn't even mention makes it worse.

What Gill Said on Hannity About the Democrat Civil War Over Socialism

Rep. Brandon Gill, the youngest Republican in Congress, sat down with Sean Hannity and went straight at what's keeping his opposition from falling apart entirely as the Democrat Party tears itself apart over socialism.

"There are two things that unify the Democratic Party right now," Gill told Hannity.

"The first thing I think is a deep loathing for America, for its founding principles, for its culture, its history, and especially its people."

The second, Gill said, is "a deep, visceral, blood-curdling hatred for Donald Trump."

Gill highlighted what the mainstream media has turned into.

"You can't turn on MSNBC or CNN for more than five seconds before you hear some deranged, left-wing lunatic screaming Donald Trump's name, blaming him for everything wrong under the sun, never giving him credit for a single thing that he's accomplished."

Hannity laid out the backdrop: Republicans have always had to fight a corrupt, biased press that closed its eyes to Biden's cognitive collapse and repeated the lie that the border was secure.

Gill agreed – and named what the media refuses to say.

Democrat Pride in America Has Collapsed Since 2001

The polling makes Gill's case better than Gill did.

A 2025 Gallup survey found that only 36% of Democrats say they are extremely or very proud to be American.

Among Republicans, that number is 92%.

Back in 2001, both parties were near 90%.

Democrats have been sliding ever since – with the sharpest drops coming during the Trump years, when despising the president became more important than loving the country.

An NBC News survey sharpened the picture further.

Among 2024 Trump voters, 62% said they are extremely proud to be American.

Among Kamala Harris voters, that number dropped to 12%.

That is the party that wants to govern this country and control what the next generation learns about it.

Democrats Have No Platform for 2026 Midterms – Just Hatred of Trump

Even Democrat strategists admit the party is adrift.

"Democrats are debating tactics instead of presenting a unified governing brand," political consultant Matt Klink told Newsweek.

James Carville – the man who got Bill Clinton elected – urged his party to delay its internal civil war and rally around a single message: stop Trump.

That's the entire platform.

No border plan, nothing on inflation, nothing for the working families Democrats once claimed to represent.

Meanwhile, the civil war Carville wants to postpone is already raging.

Socialist candidates aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America have knocked off establishment Democrats in primary after primary this cycle – including Rep. Haley Stevens in Michigan, a traditional liberal beaten by DSA-backed Dr. Abdul El-Sayed.

The moderate wing is so alarmed it launched a $15 million effort to fight the socialist takeover – money not aimed at Republicans, not spent winning back Congress, but burned fighting their own people.

Centrist Democrats are spending eight figures to stop AOC's movement from swallowing what's left of their party.

Just Trump, Trump, Trump – from a party too busy fighting itself to offer voters a reason to show up.

Republicans swept the White House and both chambers of Congress in 2024.

Democrats learned nothing.

They're heading into 2026 with no message and no reason for voters to come back.

Brandon Gill is 32 years old, a Dartmouth-educated former investment banker representing Denton County, Texas.

He didn't need a room full of consultants to diagnose what Carville and the DNC still can't figure out.

The Democrat Party doesn't love America.

It loves hating Donald Trump.

Voters delivered their verdict on that strategy in November 2024.
