Melania Trump avoided the spotlight during her time as the First Lady of the United States.
She made raising their son, Barron, her top priority.
But Amazon just made one announcement about Melania Trump that sent Michelle Obama into a rage.
Congress officially certified President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory on Monday as Vice President Kamala Harris presided over the counting of each state’s Electoral College votes.
The final count showed that Donald Trump won 312 electoral votes to Kamala’s 226.
And on January 20, Donald Trump will take the oath of office and be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
Donald Trump spent the past few weeks selecting his staff and announcing his cabinet nominees in preparation for his return on January 20.
Melania Trump will also replace Jill Biden as America’s First Lady on Inauguration Day.
During Donald Trump’s term, Melania stayed out of the public spotlight more than any First Lady in recent memory.
She also stayed behind the scenes during most of the 2024 Presidential race.
“While she appeared at her husband’s campaign launch event for 2024 and attended the closing night of the Republican national convention in July, she has otherwise stayed off the campaign trail, though the demands of again being first lady may dictate a higher public profile after her husband’s second inauguration day,” the Guardian reported.
Melania stepped into the spotlight in October and released a memoir called Melania, which reached the top spot on the New York Times bestseller list and remains a bestseller on Amazon.
As for her husband’s second term, Melania doesn’t plan to live in the White House full-time.
Instead, she will split her time between the White House, Palm Beach, and New York City.
But even though she plans to operate behind the scenes, Melania will be the subject of a new documentary on Amazon Prime.
“Melania Trump will be the subject of a new documentary directed by Brett Ratner and distributed by Amazon Prime Video,” the Guardian reported. “The streaming arm of the tech giant got exclusive licensing rights for a streaming and theatrical release later this year, the company said Sunday,” the Guardian continued. “Filming is already underway on the documentary.”
Ratner is best known for his films Rush Hour, X-Men: The Last Stand, and The Family Man.
“Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement to CNN. “We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world.”
Melania will do more than star in the documentary.
She’s also the film’s executive producer.
Amazon started filming the documentary last month after Donald Trump’s landslide victory and will be released in mid-2025.
According to Amazon, the film, which doesn’t yet have a title, will have a theatrical and a streaming release.
Melania Trump has remained one of the most mysterious and fascinating members of the President-elect’s inner circle since 2016.
But Americans will get a chance to learn more about Melania Trump thanks to Amazon Prime.
