There’s less than a month left until the National Football League’s regular season kicks off.

The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to become the first team to ever win three consecutive Super Bowls.

But all hell broke loose when the Kansas City Chiefs made this eye-popping announcement about Harrison Butker.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker made headlines back in May for a commencement speech he delivered at a Catholic college.

Butker didn’t pull any punches or mince words in his address.

He expressed his Christian values, voiced his opposition to abortion, and defended traditional masculinity.

“The bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues,” Butker said in his commencement speech. “Things like abortion, [in vitro fertilization], surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for the degenerate cultural values and media all stem from pervasiveness of disorder,” he continued. “Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally.”

He told the young men to “be unapologetic in your masculinity, fighting against the cultural emasculation of men” before encouraging them to “do hard things” and “never settle for what is easy.”

Of course, Butker’s speech sent Democrats and their media allies into a fit of rage.

Left-wing activists and woke radicals attacked Butker and demanded he be booted off the team.

But Butker’s coach, the team’s owner, and other players stood up and defended him as a man of integrity both on and off the field.

It’s not surprising that Butker’s teammates stood up for him.

He’s known as a hard worker and as someone who always hustles and gives it his best.

But he’s also a super talented kicker.

At 89.1%, Butker is second in NFL history in career field goal percentage.

And instead of giving him the boot, the Chiefs just announced that Butker signed a new $25.6 million contract that runs through 2028.

“A new deal in KC: Chiefs are signing standout kicker Harrison Butker to a four-year, $25.6 million extension that includes $17.75 million guaranteed, per sources,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter wrote on X. “The deal ties Butker to KC through the 2028 season.”

“Butker represented and negotiated the deal himself,” he added.

Kansas City Chiefs fans reacted with joy to the news that Butker would be with the team through 2028.

But the announcement sent Democrats over the rails.

“Good he’s making money so his wife can stay home and cook and take care of the kids,” pro-jab doctor Apu Akkad wrote. “Like he wants?”

Many leftists attacked the NFL and said the League “hates women.”

Others called Butker “disgusting” and “misogynistic,” while some even called for “the Chiefs to be punished.”

Harrison Butker stood up for traditional conservative values.

Democrats and their media allies tried to destroy his career.

But Butker is stacking his millions while leftists throw a hissy fit.
