Democrats’ lawfare strategy is backfiring.

They’re in full-blown panic mode over the possibility that Donald Trump will return to the White House.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just made one prediction that every Trump supporter would love to see come true.

Democrats expected their weaponized justice system to take former President Donald Trump out of the Presidential election equation this fall.

They thought 91 charges across four witch hunts would be enough to stop him from winning a second term.

And Democrats felt certain that his conviction in Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s witch hunt would deal a crushing blow to Trump’s political career.

But they were wrong.

Not only did Democrats’ lawfare fail to stop Trump, but the latest polls show it also made him more popular than ever.

Post-conviction polls and surveys indicate that Trump is now actually polling better against Biden than at any point during both the 2016 and 2020 elections.

And with November less than five months away, Democrats are starting to panic over the real possibility of Trump serving four more years in the Oval Office.

One of those Democrats is Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

During a recent appearance on the On with Kara Swisher podcast, AOC shared her biggest fear of a second Trump term with host Kara Swisher.

And AOC’s biggest fear is that Trump will use the justice system against Democrats in the same way that Democrats have used it against him.

“I mean, it sounds nuts, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy threw me in jail,” AOC said. “He’s out of his mind,” she continued. “I mean, he did his whole first campaign around ‘lock her up.’”

“This is his motto,” she added.

She then predicted Trump would somehow “round up” Democrats like herself and toss them in prison.

“I take him at his word when he says that he’s going to round up people,” she said. “I take him at his word when he threatens journalists. I take him at his word.”

“I feel like what we saw in his first presidency was an amuse-bouche to what his intentions are,” she added. “He has learned from his mistakes of appointing professionals, and he will not make that mistake next time.”

Of course, AOC is fear mongering the same way Biden and the rest of the Democrat Party does anytime they claim Trump – and Republicans in general – is somehow a “threat to democracy.”

Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an interview last Wednesday that this claim was just plain “wrong.”

“Number one, they’re wrong,” Trump told Hannity. “It has to stop, because otherwise, we’re not going to have a country,” he continued. “Look, when this election is over, based on what they’ve done, I would have every right to go after them, and it’s easy, because it’s Joe Biden and you see all the criminality, all of the money that’s going into the family and him, all of this money from China, from Russia, from Ukraine.”

Trump said waging lawfare would “destroy the system.”

“If I get elected and arrest all the people who deserve it, we’d destroy the system,” he said.

However, AOC did make one accurate statement during her interview.

She admitted that Trump could defeat Biden in November.

“Trump does absolutely have a chance to win,” she said. “That is why I have thrown my support behind Biden early and I support it vociferously.”

Once again, Democrats are merely attempting to push all sorts of propaganda narratives against Donald Trump in the hope they’ll scare voters away.

But as polls continue to indicate, it seems to be having the opposite effect.
