Donald Trump is quickly filling up his cabinet.
But many of his selections are causing consternation from the Left.
And now a Tennessee Mayor was caught in this must-watch video violently assaulting one of Trump’s latest nominees.
Trump picks McMahon to once again join his cabinet
President-elect Donald Trump is moving at breakneck speed, filling his executive branch team with some truly incredible nominees.
One of the most recent selections is WWE co-founder and former CEO Linda McMahon as his Secretary of Education.
McMahon, who co-founded WWE with her husband, Vince McMahon – was Trump’s head of the Small Business Administration during his first term in the White House.
Thank you Mr. President for your trust in me to serve as Secretary of Education and I am hopeful of Senate confirmation. I am deeply honored and humbled for this opportunity and I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure every student has access to a quality education.

Considering her resume is full of business credentials and accomplishments, she’s an interesting choice to lead the Department of Education.
However, Trump has vowed to end the Education Department, so perhaps McMahon is being put in place for the purpose of dismantling the department.
Many connected with the WWE believe McMahon is up to the task.
Congrats to @Linda_McMahon, our new Secretary of Education! Honored to call you a friend and can’t wait to see all you accomplish with @realDonaldTrump over the next four years. pic.twitter.com/UnX1WzuAwy

Knox County, Tennessee’s libertarian Republican Mayor Glenn Jacobs, also known as WWE star Kane, was one of the first to praise Trump’s selection of McMahon.
“Congrats to Linda McMahon, our new Secretary of Education,” Jacobs tweeted. “Honored to call you a friend and can’t wait to see all you accomplish with Donald Trump over the next four years.”
Jacobs, who is rumored to be eying a 2026 Gubernatorial run in his home state of Tennessee, has a long history of working closely with McMahon at WWE and even used her as an example to counter Mark Cuban’s argument that the President-elect doesn’t surround himself with “strong, intelligent women.”
Mark Cuban, meet @Linda_McMahon, accomplished businesswomen and former head of the SBA. She’s one of those “strong, intelligent women” @realDonaldTrump doesn’t surround himself with. https://t.co/MUqGD9khVd

However, McMahon and Jacobs haven’t always been so friendly while in front of a camera together.
In fact, there was a time when the former WWE CEO and WWE superstar’s relationship was quite dicey.
McMahon vs. Kane
In light of McMahon’s nomination, an old video from Monday Night Raw has resurfaced.

In the clip, Kane brutally attacks Trump’s Secretary of Education nominee.
After laying waste to his then-rival, Rob Van Dam, Kane is seen manhandling the much smaller and older McMahon.
He tosses her around, hits her with a choke slam and then finishes her off with a tombstone piledriver.
The beating was so brutal, referees and officials rushed to check on McMahon’s wellbeing.
Of course, this is all in what is known in professional wrestling as “kayfabe,” or in laymen’s terms, it was just part of the scripted show.

But this experience primes McMahon for the battles she’s undoubtedly about to face with the radical left-wing American Federation of Teachers and National Education Association.
This also seems like a good time to remind Americans that Trump is still the first and only President in American history to be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame – and survive a Stone Cold Stunner.
He also famously had Hulk Hogan as a speaker at the 2024 Republican National Committee.
