New York voters have only themselves to blame for continuously electing Democrats while expecting different results for their filthy, crime-ridden city.
And now a potential Democrat Presidential candidate made one comment in the wake of a heinous attack that could end her career.
Hochul rendered speechless by latest NYC subway atrocity
Timing is everything, and New York Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul could not have been more tone-deaf the week before Christmas when she chose a horrific setting to crow about her “accomplishments.”
Hochul held a press conference in which she proclaimed to the world that she had single-handedly made New York City’s subways far safer than they’d ever been.
The only problem was that her claim came just a few hours after the most horrific attack on an innocent New Yorker in recent memory.
An illegal alien from Guatemala is accused of setting a sleeping woman’s clothes on fire early that Sunday morning.
The victim, later identified as a 57-year-old sometimes homeless woman, was burned alive as horrified passengers watched in terror.
It was against that backdrop that Hochul made her foolish boast, and now, there’s a new atrocity that the disgraced Democrat cannot hide from.
Disturbing video taken on New Year’s Eve captured the horrific incident at the 18th Street subway station in Chelsea.
A 45-year-old man is clearly seen near the tracks looking at his phone when another man casually walks up behind him and attacks just as a train approaches.
The victim was pushed right in front of the train at the last possible moment.
The unidentified target suffered a skull fracture and was barely alive at Bellevue Hospital at last report.
The suspect in the heinous assault was quickly identified as 23-year-old Kamel Hawkins of Brooklyn.
The cowardly alleged attacker reportedly already had a lengthy police record, including one instance of assaulting an officer in 2019 and causing bodily injury.
He was quickly arrested and charged with attempted murder and assault as shocked New Yorkers reeled from another unfathomable incident on the subway system.
Hochul has been deathly quiet since the latest atrocity.
After all, what could she say? Perhaps the Democrat governor would double down on her claim to have rid the city of violent criminals and saved its citizens from chaos wrought by her failed policies.
The victim survived ‘by God’s own hand’
The people are no longer easily fooled by lying politicians and their complicit media cronies.
There are too many platforms, such as X, where the unfiltered truth is presented for all the world to see.
The heinous New Year’s Eve attack is just the latest sign that the nation’s largest city is in the grip of a criminal crisis and at the mercy of those who prey on the innocent.
Tuesday’s victim, as one law enforcement official declared, is only alive through a divine miracle.
“By God’s own hand, he fell perfectly in the trench,” the source explained. Witnesses were shocked when the man was breathing and blinking his eyes after being pulled to the platform by first responders.
The next subway target enabled by Democrats and their soft-on-crime approach may not be so fortunate.
