And a country music star picked a fight with Travis Kelce over Taylor Swift for this awful reason.
Country star makes scary accusation against Travis Kelce
Country music artist and actress Jana Kramer had a nasty public divorce from her ex-husband, former Buffalo Bills tight end Mike Caussin.
Caussin allegedly cheated on her with at least 13 different women.
She said on her podcast Whine Down with Jama Kramer that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s extensive partying off the field is a major red flag.
Kramer said that she was a fan of Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift as a couple, but she’s changed her tune.
“I’m not saying it’s fake… I just have my own – he reminds me of my ex,” Kramer said. “It just feels a little corny, cheesy, like loving the attention. It just feels like – like he is just loving the attention.”
Kelce’s off-field antics have been making headlines since he was in college and was suspended for the entire 2010 season over failed drug tests, and he’s recently carried on with his partying at the Kentucky Derby, the Coachella music festival, and when he slammed a beer when he received his college diploma earlier this year.
“To me, he’s always drunk,” Kramer explained. “Every time I’ve ever seen a video he’s just always drunk. And I’m like, I hope that she doesn’t go on that. I see her drinking more now because of the company you keep.”
She also pointed to a high-profile incident at this year’s Super Bowl in which Kelce violently slammed himself into Chiefs coach Andy Reid as he went ballistic on him on the sidelines over not being in the game for a single play.
“Something about him reminds me of my ex that just rubs me the wrong way,” Kramer said.
Kelce responds to Kramer
A source close to Kelce told TMZ that he had never met Kramer before, and had no idea who she was before she weighed in on his relationship with Swift.
Kramer is best known for starring in the CW teen drama One Tree Hill and for the 2012 country hit Why Ya Wanna.
“Our sources tell us Travis thinks Jana is blowing hot air just to get attention for her pod, which — based on what we’re told people in his world have learned about her — is par for the course. Jana has a bit of a history of publicly name-dropping/dragging celebs,” TMZ reported.
Kramer previously called reality TV star Brody Jenner, who is the youngest son of the Olympian formerly known as Bruce Jenner, “a bad date” on her podcast.
“Our sources tell us Travis and co. feel like this is just more of the same … and that she only invoked his name to clout-chase — and on its face, you could argue it worked. Her remarks got picked up wide by lots of media outlets … but we’re told Travis isn’t paying it any mind,” TMZ also reported.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes claimed in a recent interview that Kelce’s party animal behavior in the NFL offseason is supposedly just a “persona.”
