After months of hiding, Kamala Harris has finally decided to start doing televised interviews.

The Democrat Presidential nominee probably assumed that she’d be given nothing but soft questions.

But a 60 Minutes interviewer put jaws on the floor when he confronted Kamala Harris with one vital truth.

Kamala does everything but answer questions on immigration crisis

Vice President Kamala Harris made her 60 Minutes debut this week when she sat down with CBS correspondent Bill Whitaker.

Whitaker pressed Kamala on the Biden-Harris regime’s handling of issues at the border, notably the timing of some recent policy changes that have magically led to a slight decrease in illegal border crossings.

The CBS correspondent challenged Kamala and noted that there was a significant increase in illegal border crossings during the Biden-Harris regime’s first three years in office compared to Trump’s administration.

“There was a historic flood of undocumented immigrants coming across the border the first three years of your administration. As a matter of fact, arrivals quadrupled from the last year of [former] President [Donald] Trump,” said Whittaker.

When asked if loosening those immigration policies was a mistake, Harris defended her administration.

“It’s a long-standing problem. And solutions are at hand. And from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions,” Kamala replied.

But Whitaker didn’t let up and asked her, “Was it a mistake to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?”

She responded by highlighting some recent efforts, saying, “We have cut the flow of illegal immigration by half. We have cut the flow of fentanyl by half. But we need Congress to be able to actually fix the problem.”

Kamala continued to emphasize that Congress needs to act, citing an earlier proposal for immigration reform and attempts at some bipartisan efforts in the Senate.

Then, as one might expect, she said that opposition from Trump is what derailed progress on a border security bill.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has reportedly backed out of appearing on 60 Minutes after he previously said he would take part in an interview.

The facts are clear on illegal immigration

Despite how many times Kamala tried to dodge the question and blame Donald Trump, the facts on illegal immigration speak for themselves.

Recent reports from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) paint a clear picture of the problems the nation is facing.

A recent letter to Senator Tony Gonzales (R-TX) from ICE deputy director Patrick Lechleitner said there were 425,431 convicted criminals and another 222,141 people with pending criminal charges on the agency’s docket for non-detained illegals.

Gonzales said those numbers are “astronomical,” and Congressman and House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) said the information in the letter to Gonzales was “shocking.”

Senator and Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance (R-OH) has accused the Biden-Harris regime of allowing illegal aliens into the country.

During a September campaign rally, Vance said, “If Kamala Harris waves a wand – illegally – and says these people are now here illegally, I’m still going to call them illegal aliens. An illegal action by Kamala Harris does not make an alien legal. That is not how this works.”

There’s a very good chance that the majority of the United States would agree with that sentiment, despite how many times Kamala tries to deny and avoid it.
