George Soros has spent tens of millions of dollars trying to turn Texas blue.
His political operation is willing to do anything to make that happen.
And a Texas Democrat operative caught on hidden camera revealing just how far they would go.
George Soros PAC Caught Running $500,000 Vote-Buying Operation in Texas
Sky MacAdams is the organizing manager for Texas Majority PAC – the George Soros-funded machine pouring millions into flipping Texas for Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico.
Townhall Investigations released undercover footage of MacAdams explaining exactly how the scheme works.
"We are paying people $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class to learn why voting is important and why the Republicans are causing all of these bad things," MacAdams said in the video.
"So it's like a roundabout way of paying people for their votes, essentially."
MacAdams called the arrangement a "gray" area – and then volunteered what any honest observer already knew.
"If I was a Republican, I would be pissed. I would be like, that's shady as f***."
The operation runs through a political consulting firm called Relentless, which built a voter mobilization platform called Rally Texas to manage it.
Campaign finance records show Texas Majority PAC wired Relentless $500,000 for the program – roughly 20 percent of everything it spent through July.
Do the math: at $25 a head, that half-million dollars reaches 20,000 voters in a Senate race that could come down to a few thousand.
Federal Election Fraud Law Has a Name for What Texas Majority PAC Just Did
MacAdams tried to thread the needle on camera.
"You can't pay someone to vote for someone," he said. "You can't be like, 'Here's $25, go vote for me.' You can say, 'Attend a one-hour class and you can receive $25.'"
Federal prosecutors call that a distinction without a difference.
Under 18 U.S.C. § 597, it is a federal crime to make or offer any expenditure to any person to influence how they vote or whether they vote – willful violations carry up to two years in federal prison.
The law does not require a handshake deal at a polling booth.
It requires only that money changed hands with the intent to influence voting.
The class does not teach civics – it teaches voters "why the Republicans are causing all of these bad things."
That is not education.
That is paid political conditioning with a $25 check attached to it.
Ken Paxton Responds as DOJ Gains Grounds to Act
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is Talarico's opponent in November and the state's top law enforcement officer.
He has a longer history with this PAC than anyone – his 2025 investigation flagged Texas Majority PAC for bankrolling Democrat legislators who broke quorum to flee the state and block a Republican election integrity bill.
He called the PAC's actions at the time "bribery" and issued a formal Request to Examine.
None of that stopped the Soros operation.
Now the same PAC – with $11.3 million in total contributions and over $8.9 million spent – is running a secret cash-for-votes network in the most expensive Senate race in Texas history.
MAGA Inc. has already dropped $10 million in Texas backing Paxton.
The Senate Leadership Fund threw in eight figures more.
Republicans know what is at stake – a Senate majority hanging on a state that Democrats have been trying to flip for years.
Texas Democrats haven't won a single statewide race since 1994.
They believe Talarico is the candidate who finally breaks that streak – and this is the cycle where the math finally works in their favor.
That belief is apparently enough justification to pay people to show up.
Texas Majority PAC was founded by former staffers of failed senate and gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke.
And their organizing manager just told an undercover camera that he knows what they are doing is wrong.
The DOJ does not need a confession to prosecute under 18 U.S.C. § 597.
Sky MacAdams handed them something better.
