Barack Obama told America it could keep its doctor – then built a fraud machine and called it healthcare reform.
Dr Oz walked into Biden's CMS on his first day and found out exactly how deep the theft actually goes.
What he found on that map is the kind of number that doesn't happen by accident.
Bidens CMS Employees Knew About the Obamacare Fraud – and Were Ordered to Stay Silent
Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, sat down with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany on Saturday in America and dropped something that should end careers.
He said his own employees – career government workers who chose public service over bigger private-sector paychecks – came to him with a confession.
They knew about the Obamacare fraud – had known for years – and were not allowed to do anything about it under Biden.
"We knew this was a problem," Oz said they told him. "We weren't allowed to do anything about it in the prior administration."
That's not a leak or a rumor. That is the head of a federal agency confirming that the previous administration ordered its own workforce to stand down while taxpayer money walked out the door.
The fraud is not alleged. The Government Accountability Office flagged ACA enrollment fraud as far back as 2014 – twelve years ago, during the Obama administration.
Biden inherited a known problem and made it worse.
Oz said he understood why his people were furious.
"The only thing they don't tolerate is not being allowed to do their job," Oz said.
Biden made sure they couldn't do it.
Florida Phantom Enrollment Runs Five Times Higher Than the Eligible Population
Oz walked McEnany through a county-by-county map of Florida assembled by Paragon Health Institute researcher Brian Blase using Census data.
Every Florida county has a known population and a known income distribution. Obamacare pays subsidies to residents earning between one and four times the poverty level. That eligibility window produces a hard ceiling on how many people in any given county should qualify for a free or heavily subsidized plan.
Then compare that ceiling to how many are actually enrolled in the $0-premium tier.
In Florida, enrollment in that free category runs five times higher than the eligible population.
Across nearly every county in the state.
Some counties show enrollment running eleven times higher than the number of residents who should qualify.
"It's impossible," Oz told McEnany. "You don't have to even pretend to make this stuff up. It's right there."
CMS now estimates that roughly 35% of all ACA marketplace enrollments nationwide are illegitimate – somewhere between five and six million people collecting subsidies they don't qualify for.
The HHS Inspector General identified 2.6 million phantom or improper enrollments still active, including more than one million submitted without a Social Security number.
Oz was clear about who pays for it.
"It's happening in Florida, but it's coming out of your pocket in every other state in the country to pay for this stuff," he said.
DOJ is already sending people to prison for it. Cory Lloyd and Steven Strong each received sentences of more than 20 years for a scheme that generated at least $180 million in fraudulent subsidies – much of it by targeting homeless, unemployed, and mentally ill individuals as phantom enrollees.
Florida brokerage executive Dafud Iza separately pleaded guilty to pocketing $133.9 million through similar tactics.
These are federal convictions, not allegations.
Since taking office, Oz says CMS has already stopped $42 billion in improper payments.
Biden had four years and the same authority. He didn't stop a dollar of it.
His own employees are now telling Oz they wanted to.
Democrats know the cleanup threatens the enrollment numbers they spent years bragging about. Minnesota is suing the Trump administration for freezing $259.5 million in Medicaid funds tied to fraud. California and Maine are next on Oz's list.
That is what happens when the money stops. Lawyers appear to keep the pipeline open.
Biden had the employees. He had the data and twelve years of GAO warnings. But he chose to do nothing – and the taxpayers are still paying for it.
