Patricia Heaton lost roles in Hollywood for being a conservative – and kept talking anyway.
Now the left-wing socialists taking over the Democrat Party gave her something new to say.
She just asked the one question every Democrat running in November is praying nobody asks them.
Patricia Heaton Calls Out Democratic Socialists of America Ahead of 2026 Midterms
Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton fired off a series of X posts aimed directly at the socialist wave now running through the Democrat Party.
"Why are there so many people coming to this country and running for office who seem to fundamentally hate everything about America and Western values?" she wrote.
It wasn't rhetorical.
Heaton was responding to Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed – a Michigan socialist now running for U.S. Senate on a Medicare for All platform while sharing a stage with Hasan Piker, the far-left Twitch streamer who once told his audience that America deserved September 11.
El-Sayed praised Piker repeatedly and invited him to campaign alongside him in the final days before his primary election.
"We've already seen what the government does with our money – billions lost to fraud and waste. Suffocating bureaucracy. Total lack of transparency and accountability. And terrible service. Don't let Dem DSAs in," Heaton wrote.
DSA Co-Chair Confirms Plan to Abolish the Senate and ICE on Fox News
The Democratic Socialists of America now claims more than 100,000 members and is no longer knocking on the door of the Democrat Party.
It has kicked it in.
DSA-backed newcomer Darializa Avila Chevalier ousted a sitting New York congressman in a primary. In Colorado, Melat Kiros knocked out 29-year incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette. Another DSA candidate flipped a safe New York seat previously held by a establishment Democrat.
This is a takeover.
DSA national co-chair Megan Romer – the woman who runs the organization fielding all these candidates – sat down with Shannon Bream on Fox News Sunday and laid out what her organization actually wants: abolish the U.S. Senate, the presidency, the Supreme Court, ICE, and the nation's borders, while defunding the Pentagon and moving most large corporations into government hands.
Speaker Mike Johnson said voters in November are choosing between "common sense" and "communism."
Romer did not deny it.
Heaton also flagged a video of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's top aide, Cea Waver, who stated she wants to "impoverish the white middle class." Mamdani had El-Sayed campaign alongside Piker in Michigan. The connections run straight up the organizational chart.

"When I grew up as a democrat, the party was pretty much against 'the man' ie the government," Heaton wrote. "Now it has completely flipped – they want the govt to be their daddy. Weird."
Nobody who lived through the old Democrat Party can argue otherwise.
The working families, the Catholic neighborhoods, the Americans who loved their country even when they disagreed about policy – that party is gone.
The DSA's own youth wing voted this summer on whether to abandon the Democrat Party entirely and form an independent socialist party – not because the movement is failing, but because it is winning so decisively inside Democrat primaries that the original strategy of working within the party is becoming harder to justify.
That is the situation Democrats are walking into November with.
Democrat strategist James Carville called one DSA House candidate "a fringe third party" who should form her own party – after she beat an incumbent Democrat in a primary.
Moderate voices inside the Left are sounding the alarm.
When the people most terrified of the DSA are other Democrats, something has gone badly wrong inside that party.
Patricia Heaton said it anyway. That's more than most of Hollywood can claim.
