Sean Hannity Caught AOC Doing Something That Proved How Phony She Really Is

AOC told Politico last weekend she has not ruled out a run for president in 2028.

Then a video surfaced from her Tennessee rally that raises one question every voter deserves to ask.

Sean Hannity played it on air and the answer was worse than anyone expected.

AOC Fake Southern Accent at Tennessee Rally Draws Mockery

AOC showed up in Memphis to stump for left-wing Tennessee House member Justin Pearson, who is running for Congress. She took the stage and started preaching – and that is not a figure of speech.

“We cannot afford to leave Tennessee behind,” she told the crowd in a drawl that would embarrass a community theater. “We cannot afford to leave Kentucky behind, Alabama behind, Mississippi behind, Georgia behind, South Carolina behind.”

The Bronx had gone full Southern Baptist.

Steve Guest, a conservative communications strategist, had seen it before. “Hillary Clinton developed an accent,” he wrote. “Kamala Harris developed an accent. AOC is developing an accent. It’s all patronizing.”

Actor Michael Rapaport agreed: “AOC, from the ‘Bronx,’ sounding like a southern Baptist preacher while in Memphis.”

Benny Johnson on Hannity Calls AOC the Most Phony Democrat in Politics

Fox News host Sean Hannity replayed the clip and turned to MAGA podcaster Benny Johnson for reaction.

“You know, I’m surprised AOC is not trying to speak in an Arabic dialect when she is in Michigan,” Johnson said on air, referencing her same-weekend Detroit rally for Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed – a fierce critic of Israel now running for U.S. Senate with the backing of AOC and Bernie Sanders.

“Do you do this?” Johnson asked Hannity. “You have millions of viewers across the south, you have millions of viewers in Texas, but I have never seen you do this show in a southern drawl, Sean.”

Hannity confirmed he had not.

“These people don’t believe anything,” Johnson said. “They don’t know who they are, they don’t know where they are from, and they don’t know what they stand for. People that know who they are, they don’t have to pander.”

“You don’t use a Chinese accent when you go to a Chinese restaurant because you know who you are and where you’re from.”

AOC 2028 Presidential Run Takes a Hit After Pandering Video Goes Viral

Memphis on Friday. Detroit on Saturday. Two cities with large black Democrat constituencies. Two rallies for left-wing candidates who would lose badly to Republicans in a general election.

Hillary Clinton ran the same play in Selma in 2007 – told a Black congregation “I don’t feel no ways tired” in a voice she had never used in thirty years of public life. Kamala Harris did it in Atlanta in July 2024, adopting a Southern drawl to tell a crowd she was going to do it again in 2024. Both lost.

Democrats do not learn because their voters keep rewarding it.

Johnson nailed the real problem on Hannity’s show. Conservatives know who they are – Christian, American, unapologetic. Democrats have no fixed identity beyond the pursuit of power, so every crowd gets a different version and every audience gets a different accent.

AOC spent last weekend in Memphis performing Southern and in Detroit performing left-wing-Arab-coalition ally, then flew back to New York to be a Bronx girl on social media.

The audience she is really auditioning for is not in Memphis or Detroit. It is in the donor suites of San Francisco and Brooklyn – the people who will write the checks for the 2028 campaign.

She can change the accent all she wants. Voters outside of her deep blue district will figure out quickly she’s a complete phony.
