Anthony Fauci called you a conspiracy theorist for asking where COVID came from.
Now the man who hid those records is facing federal charges – and John Kennedy just dropped what they reveal about Fauci personally.
What Kennedy said about Fauci and those emails is something Biden spent his last day in office making sure you'd never hear.
David Morens Indicted for Hiding COVID Origins Records From the American People
The Justice Department indicted Dr. David Morens – Fauci's senior adviser at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from 2006 to 2022 – on charges of conspiracy against the United States, destruction and falsification of federal records, and concealment of records tied to COVID-19 origins.
If convicted on all counts, Morens faces decades in prison.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said: Morens and his co-conspirators "deliberately concealed information and falsified records in an effort to suppress alternative theories regarding the origins of COVID-19."
The indictment alleges Morens routed official communications through his personal Gmail account to keep them out of reach of Freedom of Information Act requests.
In one email, he wrote: "I try to always communicate over gmail because my NIH email is FOIA'd constantly."
In another, he told colleagues: "Don't worry, just send to any of my addresses and I will delete anything I don't want to see in the New York Times."
He bragged to a colleague that the NIH's own FOIA liaison coached him on how to hide records from the public – records that, by law, belong to the public.
The indictment names two unindicted co-conspirators – one matching the description of EcoHealth Alliance president Peter Daszak, whose organization funneled $750,000 in NIH grants to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research.
After EcoHealth won a new $7.5 million grant, Morens emailed from his official account: "Do I get a kickback???"
Prosecutors allege Morens wrote a scientific commentary in a prominent medical journal advocating that COVID-19 had natural origins – and accepted two bottles of wine from Daszak in exchange for his "behind-the-scenes shenanigans."
Court records show a sealed related case on the docket, which means more charges are coming.
John Kennedy Says Fauci Knew About the COVID Cover-Up All Along
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) appeared on Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt Tonight and said what millions of Americans spent three years waiting to hear.
"I remember when these allegations first surfaced about Dr. Fauci and the other minions, and we were all told that it's a conspiracy theory, and we're all a bunch of nuts," Kennedy said.
"We now know we're going to have to get some new conspiracy theories because all the old ones turned out to be true."
Kennedy said he has read enough of the indictment to be confident the men at the center of the case "are in a lot of trouble."
The emails cited in the charging documents go straight to Fauci.
The indictment alleges Morens used his Gmail account to "back-channel" information directly to Fauci – and in one exchange wrote that there was "no worry about FOIAs" because he could "either send stuff to Tony on his private gmail, or hand it to him at work or at his house."
"He is too smart to let colleagues send him stuff that could cause trouble," Morens wrote.
Kennedy told the country what that means: "It looks to me like, at least as pleaded, that they were trying to hide the facts that they were conducting gain-of-function research in China using American taxpayer dollars, and that they tried to hide it."
"They imply in the emails, I don't know if it's true or not, that Dr. Fauci knew all about it," Kennedy said.
Biden Pardoned Fauci to Keep the Gain of Function Cover-Up Buried
Rand Paul warned for four years that Fauci lied to Congress about gain-of-function research in Wuhan – and spent four years getting called a crank for it.
Every institution lined up against him: Democrat senators, the corporate media, and social media platforms that censored anyone who repeated the claim.
In May 2021, Fauci told the Senate under oath that the NIH had "not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology."
In 2024, NIH principal deputy director Lawrence Tabak admitted before a House committee that U.S. government money did fund gain-of-function research in Wuhan through EcoHealth Alliance.
Rep. James Comer put it simply: "We caught Dr. Morens red-handed as he boasted in emails about how the 'FOIA lady' coached him on how to hide records and cover-up information."
Biden pardoned Fauci on his last day in office – before Fauci had ever been charged with a crime – for any offenses dating back to 2014.
That pardon is the only reason Fauci is not sitting next to Morens as a co-defendant.
Kennedy said that the two unindicted co-conspirators named in the charging documents "will be indicted."
Morens is 78 years old and he put his entire conspiracy in writing.
