Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had no idea what trouble he was in for.
It may be too late for Schumer to do anything about it.

New poll spells doom for Democrats
If the leadership of the Democrat Party thought their fortunes would immediately reverse as soon as Donald Trump became President and opposition to his agenda materialized, they were sorely mistaken.
A jaw-dropping new poll from Quinnipiac showed that by a more than three to one margin, the American people disapproved of Congressional Democrats.
“Twenty-one percent of voters approve of the way the Democrats in Congress are handling their job, which is an all-time low, while 68 percent of voters disapprove and 11 percent did not offer an opinion,” the Quinnipiac polling memo stated.
Democrats can’t even get on board with popular Trump initiatives like mass deportation or banning biological males from women’s sports, two-party planks the voters emphatically rejected last November.
Instead, Democrats began staging protests in Washington, D.C. to defend government bureaucrats from DOGE firing them.
Americans want a secure border and inflation under control.
Under the leadership of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Democrats are retrenching to the failed Joe Biden-Kamala Harris agenda.
Democrats’ own voters aren’t happy with the direction the party’s taken since the election.
“In today’s poll, 40 percent of Democrats approve of the way the Democrats in Congress are handling their job, while 49 percent disapprove and 11 percent did not offer an opinion,” Quinnipiac’s memo went on to say.
Gallup found that 45 percent of Democrats want the party to moderate.
Just 29 percent want the party to turn hard Left.
Schumer and his fellow Democrats are ignoring the will of their own voters to shake off the yoke of the woke mob and move on.
At the same time, Democrats are furious over the state of affairs in the country.
“Among Democrats, 14 percent think the system is working either very well (1 percent) or somewhat well (13 percent), while 80 percent think it is working either not so well (32 percent) or not well at all (48 percent),” Quinnipiac’s polling read.
What infuriates Democrats is that their leaders are ineffectual and they no longer have power.
Chuck Schumer is becoming the prime target of the Left’s rage as even the media is starting to treat Schumer like a buffoon.

Operatives like Tim Miller of The Bulwark can see the iceberg rapidly approaching as he noted on social media that Democrat voters are primed to turn
“A dem tea party is gonna overthrow Hakeem and Chuck if they don’t turn shit up to 11. It might be healthy it might be self-sabotaging idk but the demand in the market is too great to resist. Someone will fill it,” Miller posted on X.
Tossing Schumer overboard may be a pyrrhic victory for the Left.
For as radical and unappealing as Schumer is, the hard-left Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez types seizing the reins of the party apparatus would likely be the best gift President Trump and the GOP could ever receive.
