And now Joe Rogan exposed the Democrat Party for making this fatal mistake.
The Democrat Party and the media double down on failure
One of the big stories coming out of the 2024 election was the state of trust in the media.
Legacy outlets like CNN, The New York Times, Washington Post, and all the big broadcast networks lied to their viewers about what a great candidate Kamala Harris was and that Donald Trump couldn’t possibly win.
By comparison, it was new media outlets like Conservative Underground News and podcasters like Joe Rogan who accurately diagnosed the state of the race and told their audiences the truth about the American people’s unease with Kamala Harris’ failed record in office.
Joe Rogan argued on a recent podcast that the Democrat Party is going to continue to lose voters as the Left is refusing to “correct course” after the election.
“We were right about the general election. That red wave happened. The Democratic Party is going to keep shedding people. They’re not going to correct course,” Rogan stated.
The one fight Democrats picked with Trump is their desire to defend every last penny of government spending although America is $36 trillion in debt.
But Rogan said the fact that Democrats have a symbiotic relationship with the press is proving to be their undoing.
Outlets like POLITICO and The New York Times raked in millions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies to produce state propaganda about how cutting one cent of spending threatens the foundations of the republic.
“They’re not course-correcting at all. They’re saying stupid s***. It’s all nonsense. They don’t understand social media or the dynamics of a completely state-controlled mainstream media, where they only pushed the narratives you guys wanted. They all said it in lockstep. You could watch different programs repeat the exact same words and phrases,” Rogan added.
Rogan said Americans no longer trust the media.
“We know they’ve got talking points. We don’t trust you anymore. We don’t trust The New York Times. We don’t trust The Washington Post. We don’t trust CNN or MSNBC. They’re all full of propaganda,” Rogan continued.
Polls already showed the media at historically low levels of trust.
And that was before Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency blew the lid off the massive scandal about how Democrats utilized USAID and other government agencies as a slush fund to prop out their allies in the press.
Rogan boasted that Americans turned to social media and podcasters for their news as it dawned on them that the press was in the narrative and not the news business.
“That’s why the Internet rose. It’s not because there’s some sort of heavily-funded right-wing conspiracy. No, you guys suck. You guys f***ing suck, and you’re not real people. Nobody wants to hang out with Brian Stelter,” Rogan concluded.
