Donald Trump racked up win after win in his first two weeks in office.

But Trump was startled by some bad news.

And Donald Trump is about to lose this big fight because of one word.

RINOs and Democrats gang up on Tulsi Gabbard

Democrats and Never-Trumpers hunted around for a scalp.

They think they found one in Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to serve as Director of National Intelligence.

Gabbard wowed Americans in her opening statement with her recitation of the Deep State’s crimes against the American people and Donald Trump.

Gabbard exposed how Barack Obama funded Al-Qaeda rebels in Syria as part of a regime change war and now Islamic radicals control the country.

But Gabbard’s biggest “sin” in the confirmation hearing was refusing to call whistleblower Edward Snowden a traitor.

In 2013, Snowden revealed to journalist Glenn Greenwald that Barack Obama was operating the largest illegal warrantless spying program in human history.

Obama’s surveillance state harvested every phone call, email, and text message sent by the American people.

It was an impeachable offense of the highest magnitude.

Yet Snowden – who exposed the lawless power grabs of a rogue President – was the one charged with crimes.

Democrat Senator Michael Bennett of Colorado berated Gabbard because she refused to call Snowed a “traitor.”

“Yes or no, is Edward Snowden a traitor to the United States of America?” Bennett asked.

Gabbard tried to answer by saying that as someone who spent two decades in uniform as a member of the United States military, she understands better than anyone the role intelligence and safeguarding secrets plays in national security.

“As someone who has served in uniform in combat, I understand how critical our national security is,” Gabbard began before Bennett rudely cut her off.

“Apparently, you don’t,” Bennett snapped.

Bennett then began ranting and raving that because Gabbard believed upholding and defending the Constitutional right to be free from unlawful search and seizure she was unqualified to serve as Director of National Intelligence.

“This is when the rubber hits the road,” Bennet raged. “This is not a moment for social media. It’s not a moment to propagate conspiracy theories or attacks on journalism in the United States. This is when you need to answer the questions of the people whose votes you’re asking for.”

RINOs also pounced.

Pro-amnesty Oklahoma Senator James Lankford – who previously said he would support Gabbard’s nomination – later told reporters he was wavering over Gabbard’s refusal to smear Snowden as a traitor.

“I think there are a lot of questions after… We were kind of surprised. I thought that was going to be an easy softball question, actually,” Lankford stated.

If Gabbard loses one Republican vote in committee then her nomination will fail.
