Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman has a history of supporting some of the most left-wing policies on the planet.
But Fetterman recently traveled to Mar-a-Lago to have dinner with President-elect Donald Trump.
And Donald Trump told reporters five words about John Fetterman that he will live to regret.
Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has always been a far-Left Democrat.
He supports transgender surgeries for kids, gun control, tax hikes, and abortion-on-demand.
But Fetterman is a politician.
Politicians will say whatever they feel will help them get re-elected.
And Fetterman is up for re-election in 2028 in a state that Donald Trump won twice.
Not only that, but Democrats have also seen their voter registration advantage shrink in Pennsylvania from over 600,000 to under 300,000 in the past four years.
Fetterman is nervous after Republican Dave McCormick uprooted Democrat Senator Bob Casey in the 2024 Pennsylvania Senate race.
That’s why he’s been singing a different tune than most Democrats ever since the election.
Fetterman bucked his party and held meetings with Trump nominees like Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth.
He also sponsored the Laken Riley Act in the Senate.
Fetterman’s drift to the Right caught the attention of President-elect Donald Trump.
Trump invited Fetterman and his wife to Mar-a-Lago for dinner over the weekend.
“President-elect Donald Trump revealed how he really feels about Democratic Sen. John Fetterman after the Pennsylvania senator met with him at Mar-a-Lago,” MSN reported. “Fetterman flew down to Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday to meet with the incoming president at his lavish Florida property – the first Democratic senator to do so.”
Of course, the press pushed Fetterman as to why he would go meet with someone like Donald Trump.
“I think that one, he’s the President, or he will be officially,” Fetterman told the press when asked why he would meet with Trump.
“And I think it’s pretty reasonable that if the president would like to have a conversation — or invite someone to have a conversation — to have it,” he continued. “And no one is my gatekeeper.”
Donald Trump spoke to the Washington Examiner on Sunday and discussed his meeting with Fetterman.
Trump said they discussed issues from the border to how tariffs could benefit the steel industry in Pennsylvania.
“They’re going to make people that have steel mills do very well, and the people that work at those steel mills are going to do very well,” Trump said.
But then Trump had glowing words about Fetterman that will come back to haunt him in the future.
“It was a totally fascinating meeting,” Trump said. “He’s a fascinating man, and his wife is lovely,” he continued. “They were both up, and I couldn’t be more impressed.”
“He’s a commonsense person,” Trump said, before adding that “he’s not liberal or conservative.”
“He’s just a commonsense person, which is beautiful,” he added.
John Fetterman is a liberal.
He’s only pretending to be something else because of his re-election.
Hopefully, Donald Trump knows this and is only playing the Senator like a fiddle.
