But the mother and son have slowly begun stepping out into the spotlight more and more.

Many Americans agree that one of President-elect Donald Trump’s best qualities is how much he clearly loves his family and would do anything for them.

Donald Trump’s children have been some of his biggest supporters and voices on the campaign trail during his campaigns.

Eric, Don Jr., Tiffany, Ivanka, and Barron Trump are very close to their father and support his political ambitions.

Even though the entire family is close, Eric refers to his dad as his “best friend.” Some family members have taken a much more visible role than others.

Eric, Don Jr., Tiffany, and Ivanka have been very visible throughout their father’s political career, whereas Melania and Barron have mostly avoided the public spotlight.

Now that Barron is 18-years-old and a freshman in college, he’s been more visible during some events and played an instrumental role in creating his father’s successful podcast strategy.

But according to People, “Melania worries about the hate in the country and how it falls on her son.”

The source told People that Melania is a wonderful mother and is very close with Barron.

“She is and has been a good sounding board for him,” the source said. “They talk about life as it is and how they are in the spotlight,” the source continued. “She tries to normalize his life – if that is even possible.”

“Melania’s most meaningful moments of life have been with her family, and Barron is the lucky benefactor of that love and caring,” the source added.

On Sunday, Melania’s love for her son Barron showed during an event with Trump supporters at Mar-a-Lago.

“Melania Trump gave a rare show of emotion in remarks to supporters at Mar-a-Lago on Sunday evening, thanking them for their support for herself and her son Barron,” the Daily Mail reported.

On Sunday, Melania and Donald hosted the widow of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Akie Abe, for dinner.

Melania shared a photo from the dinner with Akie Abe.

“It was a privilege to host Mrs. Akie Abe at Mar-a-Lago once again,” Melania wrote. “We fondly remembered her late husband, former Prime Minister Abe, and honored his remarkable legacy.”

She also sent a heartfelt message to Trump supporters.

“For being there for myself and Barron – thank you for that,” she said. 

As a protective mother, Melania is worried about someone potentially breaking Barron’s heart.

“Barron Trump is a smooth talker— with the ladies,” the Irish Star reported. “The 18-year-old son of President-elect Donald Trump has no issue picking up women while studying at New York University, it’s claimed.”

Barron is nearly seven feet tall and towers above everyone else.

But as Americans get to know Barron, they are starting to realize that he is more like his father than any of his siblings.
