Like other high-profile officials, Pope Francis travels to faraway places on a regular basis. 

However, unlike other public officials, the Pope tends to visit places that suffer the most from plague, violence, and hardship, inherently putting his life at risk. 

Pope Francis, for example, has visited a long list of tumultuous places, even visiting the war torn nation of Iraq in 2021. 

However, in Pope Francis’ soon to be released autobiography, Hope: The Autobiography, the Pope discusses two near death scenarios while visiting this dangerous part of the world. 

“Almost everyone advised me against that trip,” Pope Francis wrote in regards to his 2021 visit to Mosul, Iraq. 

He then wrote about two foiled suicide-bombing attempts, where the suspects attempted to get close to the Pope, where they would detonate their explosives. 

The first suspect wore a suicide vest, with the intent of working her way through the crowd, only to detonate when she got as close as possible to the Pope. 

The second suspect loaded his van full of explosives, intended to harm the pope and the people who came to see him. 

Pope Francis then recalled his conservation with a member of his security detail, writing, “The commander replied laconically, ‘They’re no longer here. Iraqi police had intercepted them and made them explode.'”

“Hope: The Autobiography” will hit store shelves in January and is expected to sell millions of copies, in a variety of languages, all across the globe. 

Although many Catholics cannot deny Pope Francis’ importance, many have grown tired of the Pope’s notoriously “woke” politics. 

Unlike other Popes in the past, Pope Francis has made a slew of comments supporting the radical LGBT agenda.

Pope Francis has also dipped his toes in other political causes, claiming that climate change should be a top concern for people all over the globe. 

These examples of the Pope dabbling with woke extremism have infuriated many Catholics and other Christians, who do not believe he represents their beliefs and values.

 Since taking over as Pope in 2013, Pope Francis has made a long list of comments and moves designed to placate the radical Left. 

His support of woke and environmental extremism has outraged many across the world, who do not believe the Pope should dabble in such matters. 

Conservative Catholics have become increasingly fed up with this pope, who they believe does not represent their faith or their values. 

Pope Francis’ upcoming autobiography will certainly ruffle some feathers, with many predicting that the Pope will divulge details about his life that no other Pope has before.
