Mitch McConnell wants to undermine as much of the America First agenda as possible.
He has another thing coming if he thwarts conservatives.
And Mitch McConnell got hit with a scary ultimatum over this fight against Donald Trump.
RINO establishment put on notice about sabotaging Trump
The RINO establishment in the Senate is already lining up to oppose some of President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees next year.
Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Director of National Intelligence nominee Tulsi Gabbard are facing contentious confirmation fights.
Senate Republicans have a 53-47 majority, and Trump can only afford to lose three votes with Vice President-elect J.D. Vance ready to break any ties that pop up.
Senator Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) left his Senate “leadership” position, but he’s still a powerful figure behind the scenes.
He killed the nomination of former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) as Attorney General.
Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) told his fellow Republican Senators that voters gave them a mandate to enact Trump’s agenda during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily.
Host Mike Slater asked Tuberville if Trump supporters should be worried about the Senate becoming an obstacle to the President-elect’s agenda.
“Well, there’s got to be a little concern out there, because there’s not a lot of love for President Trump by some of the people, even on the Republican side,” Tuberville said. “Of course, the Democrats, can’t stand him, because they are more progressive.”
The former Auburn Tigers head football coach stressed that Senate Republicans needed to be unified.
“They want to change their country to socialism, and possibly even communism is what we’ve seen in the last four years. We’ve got to get everybody on the same page,” Tuberville explained. “And as I tell my Senate colleagues, listen, President Trump was given a mandate.”
Tuberville pointed out that Senator Susan Collins (RINO-ME) was the only Senate RINO who represented a state that Trump didn’t win.
Voters elected Republicans to support Trump’s agenda
The voters who gave Trump the biggest win for a Republican Presidential candidate since the 1980s also elected Republican Senators to support his agenda.
“Everybody else got a mandate from the people of their state to do what Donald Trump wants to do,” Tuberville said.
Tuberville said Trump’s mandate was to “change this country back to a constitutional republic that believes in the rule of law, believes in borders, and get our debt in order.”
He urged his fellow Republican Senators to listen to the voters who elected them.
Tuberville added that many Senators listen to themselves over voters “because a lot of times up here, people want to be relevant.”
“And relevancy to me right now should go to the back burner,” Tuberville stated. “I am relevant only when it comes to Donald Trump wanting to get our country back on the right path to a capitalist country that believes in the rule of law.”
Donald Trump’s biggest clashes in Washington, D.C. next year will be with the RINO establishment in the Senate.
