Gabbard faces a new character assassination
The Washington, D.C. “Swamp” is emptying its playbook attacking former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI).
President-elect Donald Trump nominated Gabbard to serve as his Director of National Intelligence, overseeing all 18 of the federal intelligence agencies.
The intelligence community has been trying to sink her nomination because she represents a chance to bring real reform to the rogue intelligence agencies that worked to sabotage Trump in his first term.
Democrats and their media allies are using the same playbook against her that they’ve used against Trump.
Gabbard has been called a “Russian asset.”
The fall of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad opened the door for a new smear campaign against her.
She warned against American involvement in Syria and correctly pointed out that former President Barack Obama’s regime was funding radical Islamic terrorists, like ISIS and Al Qaeda, against the Assad government in the country’s civil war.
The media is trying to portray her as a dangerous puppet of al-Assad who’s a traitor to the United States.
Psaki pushes a hoax designed to sink Gabbard
Former Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki pushed a hoax created by the intelligence community designed to instill fear that Gabbard was a traitor on her MSNBC show.
Psaki falsely accused Gabbard of being an al-Assad sympathizer and spreading Russian propaganda.
She cited a report from NBC News’ Dan De Luce, who made up a wild story based on unnamed sources from the House Affairs Committee that there were concerns that Gabbard would leak the identity of a Syrian who testified in 2018 to al-Assad.
“Congressional aides worried about one committee member, Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard. The aides were concerned Gabbard might leak information about the defector, who had hidden his identity out of fear of reprisals from the Assad regime,” De Luce claimed.
Psaki used this baseless report to claim that Gabbard couldn’t be trusted.
“Some worried that she might even reveal his identity to someone associated with the Syrian government. So, both Democratic and Republican aides told the Syrians accompanying the defector to ensure that he covered his face before Gabbard entered the room, just in case,” Psaki said.
“In other words, they didn’t trust Gabbard, a Democratic member of the House at the time, to keep his identity secret,” Psaki added.
NBC News runs a story about a hearing that happened in 2018, more than six years after the fact, based on anonymous sources.
There’s no evidence that Gabbard would do that other than the fantasy created by NBC.
“But all of it is a reminder of why so many national security experts in this country think Gabbard should not be trusted to safeguard our most sensitive secrets as director of national intelligence,” Psaki claimed.
NBC makes up a story, Jen Psaki amplifies, and a new hoax is born against Tulsi Gabbard.
The intelligence community and the media are desperate to maintain the status quo in the intelligence community.
