Some Democrats seem to be waking up to the reality that their Party has lost all contact with reality.

And now CBS News’ Marcia Kramer nearly jumped out of her skin when this Democrat made a stunning confession about Donald Trump.

When a Democrat spoke the truth, the Party sought to crush him

Marcia Kramer was clearly unsettled on “The Point” when New York Democrat Mayor Eric Adams criticized those calling for preemptive pardons ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.

The Democrat Mayor noted that these Democrat shills whined that being prosecuted for criminal activities would be “difficult on their families and difficult on them, and they will have to pay high legal fees.”

As for difficulties, the woke outrage mob has no such concerns about filing dozens of frivolous felony charges against the Republican Presidential nominee and anyone else who dares disagree with any aspect of their woke agenda.

Adams even recalled that many concerned parents were placed on terror watchlists by the Biden regime for simply speaking up for their children at local school board meetings.

But the Mayor has good reasons to be wary of his fellow Democrats.

Despite his unfortunate party affiliation, Eric Adams is not a fool. He saw first-hand the destruction wrought on the nation’s largest city by Biden’s foolish open borders agenda.

And to his credit, he stood up to Washington, D.C., declaring that the flood of unchecked illegal aliens would destroy his city.

So how did the Biden regime respond to one of their own noticing that the emperor has no clothes?

By unleashing the Biden Justice Department to conduct a sweeping investigation into Adams and his administration.

Adams suddenly felt the wrath of the politicized Biden DOJ and FBI as federal agents swarmed his city, looking for anything they could use to bring him down.

All for the unforgivable crime of criticizing Biden policies that directly led to police officers being attacked in Times Square and city residents coping with tens of thousands of military-aged males dumped onto their streets.

Kramer questioned Adams on whether he believed the federal government was now weaponized against its opponents.

Adams pulled no punches. “Yes, I do, with all my heart. But not only do I believe it, the President stated it. Donald Trump stated it and countless others.”

The Democrat noted the scores of people now persecuted simply for standing up for their beliefs, much as he now is for defending New York from his fellow Democrats’ open borders agenda.

The surprised Kramer demanded a response to the expectation that Trump will pardon individuals who were charged and imprisoned for simply being present at the Capitol on January 6, and again, Adams spoke freely.

The Democrat Mayor correctly responded that it is the President’s determination and justice must be sought.

Weaponization of government is coming to an end

For four years, the Biden regime sought to crush its opponents by weaponizing the federal government’s enormous power, something that Adams now knows firsthand.

The investigations magically appeared on his doorstep when he dared question the Biden regime.

And all from his own party. 

Now, Eric Adams is acknowledging that Donald Trump is correct in observing the FBI and DOJ’s roles in suppressing dissent.

It’s a beautiful thing to witness.
